Well, you see, the Spartans get a lot of run in the book, but they make an early exit, as usual. There's no mention of Barbara Streisand, apart from her fans burning some couches toward the end.
I did find myself asking, "dude is a good drummer - but what does that have to do with literature??"...and then suddenly I had a new batch of toilet paper...

dude comes across as quite cynical and anti-american but considering what he was struggling with it's not surprising.........the letters to his drug dealing imprisoned friend got tiresome

it was a motorcycle journey from east canada to bc and down thru the us to belize with a diary type of writting approach.........overall good reading with nuances to his coping with his tragedies....worth reading
