Is it Thursday yet? Looking forward to another great 4 days of hoops.
We can very easily see all four #1s make it to the Final Four but at the same time, all of them are vulnerable. I'd vote the Atlanta regional as the toughest...all 4 teams are capable of winning it all. The scary thing is that the best team (Connecticut) is playing the worst of the remaining 16 teams but when they turn it on, look out. I don't see a bad game on the slate...should be fun!

Was the Texas/WVU matchup canceled and Duke gets a bye into the Final 4 ????

I was in a band once. People either loved us or hated us. Or they thought we were ok.

Hedburg's stuff is better heard. On paper it is C+ at best.

I'm assuming this thread is about teams that trolls
think will win, as opposed to teams they
want to win. It's the former for me, with commentary, of course.
Duke vs.
* LSU. (ok, so they have a slight chance  )
Bradley vs.
Memphis. Barely. Should be the best game of Thursday night.
West Virginia vs. Texas. These two went to the wire earlier this season. UVa goes yard this time.
Gonzaga vs. UCLA. Sorry Seer, your turn to disappear this week.
Boston College vs.
Villanova. Depends on which BC team shows up. I'm betting the one so far in this tourney will.
George Mason vs.
Wichita State. Best game of Friday night.
Georgetown vs. Florida. See you next year, Trix. Or whichever bandwagoning troll is on Fla's nuts this year.
UConn vs. Washington. Connecticut gets their shit together, for one more game.

Only if Reddick blows out his knee and Williams gets into foul trouble early.
Actually, they still don't have a chance then.
Not with the refs on Duke's side

I can't wait till Dook loses and Dio disappears once more.
I guess I don't have to wait much longer though, Big Baby and crew are about to go to work.

Go away.
Actually, this is the round where the officials at least have a clue of what they're doing, at least in theory.
But it is the NCAA, after all.
Not that the NCAA is supported by Chevy commercials featuring Coach Krasuuskee, or anything.
Nor will they stop showing said commercials, even if ~
gasp ~ Duke loses.

I'd vote, but whatever minute amount of superstition I have would haunt me....Too much riding on this game for me...

If the NCAA tourney is about any one thing, it's guard play. And Duke's guards will outplay LSU's. Duke will probably be content to let Baby get his - but it will be a case of trading 3's for 2's.
Duke 76
LSU 68

For the love of god, leave the basketball discussion to the people who don't wait until mid march to start following the games.

Fair enough.
Next year when Duke is NO 1 in the rankings again I'll make sure to rub it your faces all year long.
And for the record I'm not bagging on LSU, solid team.
Just clueless bitches who whine about the refs whenever their team loses.

The refs were crappy in the Duke game too. Williams should've fouled out with a few minutes left...gave the foul to Paulus. I'm not on the Duke-referee conspiracy train but they let Williams get away with a lot.

No.
On that play the whistle was blown before Williams even went for the ball.
Paulus got caught reaching.
Check the replay, I did.

Regardless, Williams does get away with a lot out there. He won't get them same treatment on the next level.

We'll see. Williams generaly plays smart, he knows how to draw the contact so as to get the foul.
If they had gotten it inside to him more in the second half he probably would have had Thomas and Big Baby riding the bench.

No props nessecary. Did anyone actually think an AZ cardinals fan would decide to disappear when his team goes down?
The bad news is, you aren't getting rid of me that easy.

Can we all agree that Ben Howland is one hell of a coach?
UCLA hit the mother load when they hired him. I liked him alot at Pitt and thought it was an outstanding hire for theBruins at the time.

That would mean he was fouled on the floor. No free throws. However, the refs said he was fould while shooting and awarded two free throws. That means that Williams was the only one who could foul him and the refs bailed him out.

If "this week" includes Saturday, you still have a potential out clause.....

[PSA] Btw,
For those of you suffering with Nancy and Fudgepacker in Minneapolis, Kevin Harlan and John Thompson are announcing those games on Westwood One. Thompson isn't the greatest color guy in the world, but Harlan makes up for it. Plus, Thompson is pure sophistry compared to Fudgepacker. [/PSA]

They were in the penelty already.
By your argument, the refs bailed LSU out by giving him two undeserved free throws.
Since if you watch the tape the whistle was blown before he got to Sheldon
