Do you really want it? It's a five disc set so it'll be pretty big, even as mp3, but I'll rip it if you're interested.Patsy Stone wrote:Can you SYI it?
I'm a big fan of Miles. Don't want to hog your time though. So it's not necessary but would be nice. :)Donovan wrote:Do you really want it? It's a five disc set so it'll be pretty big, even as mp3, but I'll rip it if you're interested.Patsy Stone wrote:Can you SYI it?
If anybody has anything they can add to this, let me know.Directions in Music By The Miles Davis Quintet
Salle Pleyel in Paris, France
11-03-69
Miles Davis (trumpet)
Wayne Shorter (tenor saxophone)
Chick Corea (piano)
Dave Holland (bass)
Jack Dejohnette (drums)
This is the "lost quintet" that Miles referred to in his autobiography.
Apparently nobody ever recorded them, but Chick would bring his own
recorder to the shows on occasion. It is assumed but unconfirmed that
this was recorded by Chick himself.
Note: The tracks are not songs, just untitled
improvisations.

It's no problem at all. I just wanted to warn you that it'll be a large download. I'll start ripping them now, and hopefully I'll be able to get them uploaded today.Patsy Stone wrote: I'm a big fan of Miles. Don't want to hog your time though. So it's not necessary but would be nice. :)
