I quit about a year ago, but I was brand loyal to Skoal. I did Mint the most (if that is the green label), Cherry was alright, tried Vanilla a few times and it was good for a diversion. Didn't like the Apple at all. Never liked Copenhagen either.


I have to stop talking about this or I am going to want a lipper.

agreed, for the price, i won't dip anything else. grizz mint and wintergreen are good, but don't get the regular shit, it's fucking disgusting.

Quit dipping Copenhagen in Dec 1989 when my flight surgeon looked at my bleeding and receding gums and said I'd better quit right fucking now. He then asked me for my remaining tins as all of us dipped the real stuff.

They shipped a wack version internationally in plastic cans with some type of preservative that was different from the cardboard tins I would have sent over while on deployment.

The withdrawals were the worst part of it. Severe headaches, body aches, shaking, sleeplessness... it lasted for about 4 days, and I even used the Nicorette gum to try to take some of the sting off.

It was so bad, that I couldn't start up the habit again because of quitting cold turkey.
