Well now we know why the Miami Dolphins got picked to come to Pittsburgh to open up the season. It's because the Denver Broncos are a bunch of fucking pussies.
The Denver Broncos, the Steelers' AFC championship game opponent, asked not to be scheduled for the kickoff game in Heinz Field.

I think it should be noted that the Chiefs are one of the teams currently pushing to have 2 more playoff spots added. As if there aren't enough teams in the playoffs, the chiefs need to lobby for 2 more playoff spots just so they can actually make the playoffs.

They have to protect Jake's confidence.
Probably paid extra to have that match up in late October.

They do it every year too. I think this is like the 4th or 5th time they have suggested it....

Nah, it's just Carl Peterson's way of trying to increase the overal revenue pool. Two extra playoff games means more TV money for everybody. Anybody who has watch Lamar Hunt and Carl Peterson run the Chiefs should know that making the playoffs is not the highest priority to Chiefs management. The highest priority is soaking their fan base for as much as they can.

Not that it really matters. The Steelers won the game that really mattered. I guess Shannarat needs a little more time to work with Jake before he sees another quality defense?

When did I say I cared? I just felt like pointing out that the entire Denver Broncos organization are a bunch of gutless pussies who are too scared to play a prime time game in Pittsburgh as the season opener.
Got a problem with that?

Nice reply Pee Wee.
BTW: Looks like the Broncos aren't the only pussies on the Steelers schedule. Turns out the Bungles didn't want any part of a Thursday night game either.
Marvin Lewis wrote:"I'm glad we didn't open the season in Pittsburgh," Lewis said.
"That's a big game. Why would I want our game in Pittsburgh to be on a Thursday night to open the season? We'll play there when we play there. ... That stadium is going to be ... well, depending on what time it starts, whether or not they'll still be sober. But it's going to be loud, it'll be a loud place."

So because they wanted to play the Chiefs instead (s'up money driven owners), you automatically assume it's because Denver is afraid of Pittsburgh?????
Please.......
Denver is looking forward to another shot at the Squeelers....trust me......

They are going to play the Chiefs and the Steelers no matter what. They're just too pussy to come into Pittsburgh for a prime time game.

Dungver being a puss organization is nothing new.
Their 2 Super Bowl wins have astericks because of their blatant salary cap violation, and the league's failure to enforce it.
P. Bowlen's nose scrunched up into Tags' brillow pad took good care of that situation.
Oakland sacked up and went to play the defending champs at their home field on opening night this past season.
Seriously doubt that they 'declined' to play.
Hell, even if they would have, anyone in their right mind think the league would give half a shit what they want...?
Patty: We want NO part of Pittsburgh on opening day.
Tag-a-long: Insert tongue in anus.
Patty: Deal.
Death to the Donkeys.

Load of horseshit.
Opening day Thursday isn't the same as, say, week 7 Thursday, or whatever.
ANYONE recognizes that.

Call it whatever you want, but the NFL obviously saw the inequity in scheduling a team twice for Thursday games......
Bowlen said no thanks.......
they should have asked Al, then dud fan would already have one built in excuse at the ready......

Double up on the stupid pills today? Seriously, it's OPENING DAY. You do realize that nobody plays their starters more than a quarter during the last exhibition game? So it's not like anybody would be sweating a 4 day game week or anything. It should have been a no brainer for Bowlen to accept. That is, unless he's a real pussy.

I guess Felix (and a faint piss squirt from W'sMN) is all that's left of proud Donkey Nation.
To say that the home field title game ass-stomping took the wind of the sails of the 'fans' of this organization is an understatement.
Hey boys, your organization got called out as PUSSY.
Props to Cat for holding the flag high, and at least offering a TAKE to counter the charges.
Zero props to the collective group of bandwagon fucks who were chirping loudly about greatness prior to the title game, only to slink off and lock the basement door after having their head kicked in by the big bad Steeler juggernaut.

Ancient history is 2005, eh? Who knew. Those were the same Steelers that lost 3
home games and came within a cunt hair of losing a
4th to the Baltimore Ravens with Anthony Wrong at QB. I rest my case. Winning in Pittsburgh isn't very hard to do (unless you're the '05 Steelers). Kicking field goals beyond 50 yards might be hard, but not winning there.

Just for you Paul I’m gonna go back to the 1997 season (the last time the Chefs had any chance of winning the big one) and a certain Divisional Playoff game with the Chiefs and the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs lost to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos.
Good news is…your crybaby coach is gone!
Bad new is…you still have your cry baby owner, maybe he will get that extra playoff spot he needs some day. Until then you’ll all still cry, cause you won’t be watching your team in the playoffs again next season.

Obviously you don't know the Steelers Prime Time record. So how about you go back to sucking cock/cooking meth or whatever the fuck it is you do and the people who know football can have a conversation? I mean seriously, what kind of fucking twat takes a bunch of losses with Tommy Maddox under center and uses them as an example of what the Steelers play like at home?
Oh yea, a twat who roots for a bunch of blue and orange pussies.

Two of those 3 home losses were with Big Ben, and the near loss to the Ravens was with Big Ben going head to head with Anthony Wright.
Chances are 50/50 we would skullfuck you in Pittsburgh.

Chances are 50/50 that your parents have yet to get off meth. WTF is a near loss anyway? Is that the kind of shit Shannarat tries to sell fans of his pussy team to cover up his inability to do jack shit since Elway left town?

Uh, if knocking off the best team in the NFL (Patriots) in the playoffs is "not doing shit since Elway," then I'm fine with it.
Apparently you didn't WATCH the Ravens game. LOL, a true diehard you are. If you HAD watched the game, you'd know you deserved to lose as much as you deserved to win.
Nevermind. Let's just say your playoff performances
in Pittsburgh in recent years (does choking vs. Denver, New England and San Diego ring a bell?), combined with your totally
mediocre play at home throughout the '05 reg. season makes it relatively easy for a good team to come into your house and kick your ass. Blame it on bad luck, blame it on your quiet-ass stadium (I've been there, maybe it's the horseshoe design but it AIN'T fuckin' loud in Pitt), whatever your excuse is, your team is a road team,
not a home team.

Still harping on that "near loss" thing like a little bitch?
How about we do some math. Over the last two years, the Steelers have played 38 games between the regular season and the playoffs. Of those 38 games, they have lost exactly SEVEN times. Of those 7 losses, 4 were home games and 3 were road games. But you know what? Not a single fucking ONE of them was to a pussy assed AFC West team.
But hey, keep playing that "Steelers can't win at home" bullshit. It just makes your team look all that much more pussy for backing out of a chance to play on national TV in the season opener.
You fucking retard.

I'm still here, just not as active now that the NFL season is over.
I called them much worse than "pussy" when they let the Pigs assfuck them in front of the home crowd and on national TV. That loss, IMO, was worse than losing in the Super Bowl. At least in the Super Bowl you had to actually win games to get there.
As far as them declining the offer to play the opening game @ PIT, I agree, that was bad. I thought that Bowlen and company would want to rematch and at least try to win against them.

Don't know 'bout anybody else, but I recall watching the Patriots gift-wrap the game by beating themselves at Mule Hide. As for the Ravens... Are you referring to their effort vs. the Steelers this past season, or the playoff game where your beloved Mules failed to cross the freaking 50...? Per your "logic," both are ancient history anyway.
