i got a huge wav file i want to split in half so i can burn it to two cds. if anyone could help me out with a program that does this sort of thing, i'd appreciate it. i ususally use cdex for going from mp3->wav and such, but it won't split the file.
TIA.

Audacity is a free audio editor. Just select half of the waveform and cut/paste it then save. Easy as pie.

Here's an open source solutions for all your editing needs.
Download the Windows version.
I used to use another editing program for Windows called Goldwave, but it seems it's
gone to trialware now. Who gives a fuck, Audacity is way better anyway, although they still
haven't incorporated a .FLAC plugin yet.
