Something has to be done about instant replay.

Oilers screwed AGAIN tonight against the Wild.

It's going to cost someone their season......it might have already. Not that I have any love for the Oilers, but in the spirit of fairness, it's getting ridiculous.

Just out of curiosity, when was the other time(s) they got screwed?

They definitely got screwed tonight, I agree, but I don't agree with Gene "my underpants have Oiler logos on them" Principe when he says it cost them 2 points in the standings. It might have, but the incident was early enough in the game that anything could have happened after that.

1 point.....2points.....all points are important for some teams right now, the Oilers being one of them. They were screwed the other night.

You're pretty selective with your hypotheticals there, homeslice.

WTF are you talking about? NO other Wild goals after that means that would have been the game winner. If they had potted 2 more I'd give you argument but c'mon.

If there's goona be another set of regs for Oiler games I'd just like to know about them in advance is all.

In case you haven't noticed over the years, teams play differently when they're ahead, behind, or tied.

If the Oilers take the lead, who's to say the Wild don't press to tie the game? You don't know, and you can't tell me the Oilers were assured of the win if that goal was counted.

Sure you were denied a goal, but if the Oilers miss the playoffs by a point, I know Oiler fans are going to point at this game. Nothing was guaranteed in a 2-1 game with over half the game left.

Twice in 2 nights. What are the chances.

Memo to all teams playing the Oil....the goal line for your netminder is 3 inches farther back from where it usually is. Please play accordingly and if you can't stop it try and fuck up the camera angles.

Unreal.

The puck and Khabibulin's glove were both across the goal line, but you couldn't see the puck therefore as sucky as it was, it was the correct call last night.

The rule about having to see the puck accross the line should be change to include a clause that covers situations where everyone and their dog know's it's a goal because the goalie's glove or enitre body is in the net, but you can't see the puck. I'm saying that it hald the glove is out of the net, it's no goal but when the eniter glove with the puck in it is behind the line, their no doubt. For teh love of god, teams have million dollar stick budgets but they can't get a couple of TV's at the scorers booth so that the ref can see the play and overturn his own call.

PS- Let's not loose focus, the Oiler's blew a 3-1 thrid period lead and ended up in OT with the Hawks... that's unacceptable
