Matter of fact, bareknuckles/freestyle/pancration is not only a sport, it is the oldest sport known to man. Don't know if you've ever heard of the Ancient Olympics, which is what the modern Olympiad is based on, but they didn't just have pancration in the Ancient Olympics -- they were based upon it.

Apples and oranges. The freestyle fighters in these events are there of their own free will, and are generally well paid for it.

Animals are not.

I don't have nearly the interest in MMA that I did when I was involved in it, but I still enjoy it on an occasion.

I love watching UFC & Pride events. I have seen just about every UFC PPV and have seen just about every Pride fight over the years. I watch it to learn as much as for the bloodsport aspect of it.

Dogfighting and cockfighting are absolutely deplorable. Any person that puts those on deserves to be in jail and beaten within an inch of their life.
