my new car and Miss Haiti
mutually exclusive concepts, jtr.

congrats on buying a "Don't fuck me, I'm a loser" car.

PS,

It's only "fully loaded" when you're in it.

A Hyundai, and a non sequitous and decidedly better-than-the-typical-pageant-pose pic of Miss Haiti...

Still trying to figure out the connection here.

A retard, driving a retard car, who is so retarded that he thinks we can't find pictures of hot chicks on the internet by ourselves.

Seamless, actually.

The model name "Elantra" makes it sound luxurious and exuisite. Then I seen the photo.

I use to see Hyundai's driving around with their trim coming loose, and colors fading way to early.

In the last few years, this car company has been getting very good ratings on the tv car/driver shows.

I still suspect those tv car experts are getting pieced off, but who knows.
According to them, buying a Hyundai is the best deal to be had.

Enjoy your new car, Jess.

Was thinking along the same lines when I saw the neighborhood.

Let me guess..."Miss Haiti" hasn't been in her fair land since she was an infant, if at all. One of her family members (read: opportunists) figured that in the US talent base, she'd be in the 35th percentile...but as "Miss Haiti", she'd zoom right to the top, due to the paltry genuine competition...

I'm thinking Miss Haiti is a general term for any non poverty level only because they are as beautiful as hot chocolate on a snowy day.

you're giving miss haiti more hope when really if she were here she'd be lucky to finish 250th in a Miss Flapjack contest.

Huh? You mean that the company that spends the most money advertising on a given car show/publication gets the best ratings?

No way, dude.

Was it when the company that bought the most ad space in the previous year won the Car & Driver Car Of The Year Award for 30+ years straight that tipped you off?

Did you hear that Websters took the word "gullible" out of the dictionary?

Hyundai makes a decent car and if you factor in the price and warrantee, it's a very good car.

Mrs. TWIS has an '02 Sante Fe and we have had no problems with it. She plans on replacing it with another one in a year or 2.

Absolutely contemptible situation. Thank God this doesn’t happen in the blended wine industry.

Thank God. Because the Wine Spectator (which these tards actually tried to cite as a source) would NEVER do such a thing.

Actually, I saw a spreadsheet of advertising space vs average wine score for the WS. Sad. Was sitting there with no less than 3 professional winemakers at the time, a couple of whom browsed it, and said things like "That got a what? I've had that, and it just about made me vomit. Oh, wait -- here's their big ad on the next page."

Hey American Consumer -- did you hear that they took the word "gullible" out of the dictionary?

What's really sad, is that Consumer Reports claims to be unbiased due to their lack of advertising. Unfortunately, the people they hire to do tests are college dropouts who come up with the worst testing methodology imaginable, rendering their opinions just about as worthless as most bought-off publications.

Hyundai..no thank you.
A true story.
Against the advice of several people including myself, my bud buys a new Hyundai. Bad luck follows this guy around..he's two weeks the proud owner and trunkstuffs a car in front of him that panic-stopped. Air bags did not deploy as they should have, and he breaks his nose and cuts his forehead on the steering wheel. His insurance company sends his rig through the Hyundai dealer body shop. He wants the air bag sensors replaced on warranty because they failed to trigger the air bags. NO DEAL, he's told by the dealer..they won't warranty the sensors because they were rendered inoperative because of an accident. WTF?

Jess,

First off, nice car. We would have went with some sort of mini-van as to assist us in our grocery chores and whatever else our dominate wives command us to do but ...

What type or vacuum cleaner do you prefer to use and why?

What is it with Comedy Central and manatees? First I see them on South Park and then I see two more making out at the end of Mind of Mencia.
