Anyone here tried the Metabolife diet pills?

I know you guys are gonna say nothing can help my fat ass or something of that nature. But then it shouldn't help or hurt me to try this supplemnet as well as increasing my cardiovascular workouts.
I actually have already started the plan and it seems to be working. I take a pill and hour before each meal and then do an hour each day of fast walking. I'm seeing some results that are similar to the results I got when I first started the Atkins diet a couple years ago and ended up losing 40 lbs in 4 months. I am determined that if this plan works anywhere near that well, I will stick to it and/or drop the pills eventually and just focus on staying active physically.
But interesting thing is they asked to check my age when I bought the pills at Target. So they must have a strong effect if they don't want high school kids taking it if they have eating disorders, etc.

Aren't most diet pills like speed?

I've never taken speed. Wouldn't know.

nor have I. However I heard of many diet products being compared to speed. They're mostly caffiene or some other stimulant. Check the ingredients.
Or, just monitor what you shovel down your dorito chute.

I've never had the gravity/lardass problem personally. I have high metabolism and I am active because of work and leisure time. When I noticed I'd added some baggage, I ate less and added a few extra minutes to the daily dozen(no, not Krispy Kreme). If you are genetically predisposed to being a tad lunchy, maybe the pill thing might work, but remember, when you ingest chemicals to alter your body's natural chemistry, you run the risk of altering other things as well..like blood pressure. Be careful.

A warning, Jess...Hollywood probably doesn't need a svelte Jess. You will reap what you sow.

I've tried Metabolife... made my heart beat too fast and I felt uncomfortable. I've also used Xenadrine with no ephedra. They didn't have the "speed" effect, but still suppressed the appetite.
Although I've found that exercising works really well. Might want to try that before putting that crap in your body. It's really not safe.
Also drink more green tea.

more protein, less bad carbs?
and... also being happy with the body type the good lord and evolution gave you, instead of being someone you can't?
jess, look at those who most resemble who you are at whatever weight. you're not gonna be jamie bamber, but that doesn't mean you can't be jerry o'connell, who's also hot.
or that you can't be yourself, just the best so. you know?
different kinds of hot.
different kinds of bodies.
different kinds of Best You You Can Be.
don't do the diet pills.

Jess, I just caught your appearance on the Mind Of Mencia...
Dude, it wasn't any pill or collection of pills that got you that overweight and out of shape and it's not going to be a pill that reverses that situation either.
You look the way you do due to a lifetime's worth of bad eating habits and obvious sloth. Pills don't correct this, not unless they're arsenic pills.
Eat right and exercise. Period. Anything and everything else is useless bullshit.
Problem is, if you do eat right and exercise there goes your career. Hollywood would instantly lose your phone number if you suddenly were no longer the Fat Nerd Kid who's perfect for casting as background filler in low brow comedies.
Tough choice, and one I don't envy for you, but good luck.
