First, I am glad to see him leave. I thought he was a bad Press Secretary.

Ari was engaging and seemed to identify w/ the press corp. He looked more calm and confident at the podium and he didnt take every question as an insult to the administration.

McClellan always looked defensive and didnt try at all to be friendly w/ the media.

The ship isn't sinking.

Or are you suggesting that Bush will be impeached?

Will be and should be are two different things, unfortunately.

Some people just don't fit the job. I'm sure we've all been there. The surprise is that he lasted that long. I think with his tenure he probably just called it a day instead of being ousted, or simply his contract ran out. I think it was obvious that he wasn't a happy camper :)

The rats got thrown overboard.

So whose next?

My money is on Tony Snow, 'cause Bill O'Reilly said so.

I can't wait to see the conniption fits the haters will automatically convulse into.

Why would he go to the White House, when he's getting as much or more to make the same "insightful" commentary at Fox?

Which reminds me; I rarely watch any of those Fox News Poli-Shows, so I can't say who the host was or the name of his show, but I was surprised to hear him turn on Bu$h Corp as honestly and vocally as he did.

Just another rat leaving the sinking ship, I suppose, huh???

The key word being "shows," which is the vast majority of the cable news network programming these days, barring a legitamate national or international breaking news story. And no, the chick being offed in Aruba is NOT a fucking national news story, no matter how many times Gretta Van Cuntstrin or the rest of the judge/jury endless speculating fucktards are there to "cover" it LIVE. "Hey, everybody, as you can see, we're here in the dark, LIVE."

But the networks will promote themselves as being the MOST WATCHED or as being NUMBER ONE in "coverage." And having blowhards yelling at each other while the host plays "moderator/participant" isn't covering the news, either. That verbal food-fight claptrap is the part of the format on a daily/nightly basis as well. And neither is entertainment.

Good point, Radio.

Folks that wouldn't be caught dead picking up a "National Enquirer" in the grocery store lane watch the same thing on cable channels and think it's "news". Has to be news because it's on a "news" channel!

Actually, the key words being in that observation was, "Fox News" even thought I do get and agree with your take in general.

It's seemed so very out of character for them to not be narrow mindedly promoting trumped up virtues of the dismal Bu$h Corp.

Perhaps Fox is now under new management???

Wow. Some dumb motherfuckers up in here.

Hello?

There's some pretty damning evidence emerging that someone(s) in the White House staff committed crimes. CIA leaks and assorted other goodies.

You guys really don't see McShitstain (whose name has been associated with most of the criminal goings-on) getting tossed under the bus for all of it?

You guys really haven't seen this coming, since even before McTardly "resigned?"

OK, best laugh I've had all day. Some naive motherfuckers out there.

Ah yes, Ari looked nice and relaxed that morning of 9-11.... as he clearly directs the stunned president (who when entering the school and was shown a laptop live picture of the FIRST tower having been hit, said "That's some poor flyin'") to just sit there....and read The Little Goat....until the SECOND tower is hit and Ari calmly and confidently walks up to the Chimp and whispers, "America is now Israel...thank you"

Seriously, both of these slimeballs are oozed from the same spoor, both vile participants in the most criminal act in history (or should we say, in the New American Century).

Fleischer was able to maintain some congeniality and authoritive affable bearing only because he was on the upside of the monstrous curve--wallowing in the worldwide concern and sympathy for America following 9-11. When the astonishing incompetence and recklessness of the Chenron cabal started to really stink, Ari quit, leaving McClellan to play the thankless role of backpeddling punching bag. But more, Scotty has established an unprecedented attitude of contempt for the media by an administration (resembling very much the rapport of the post- Reichstag Fire Nazi Party to Germany's press).

LTS, I'm curious.

Now that Scott McClellan is unemployed, what's to stop him from deploying out-size want advertisments in space?
With no government regulation, what will stop Scott from projecting a giant billboard in space and ruin the view for 6 billion people of the night sky with a 'need a job' advert? Also, who owns the space around earth?

People still pay attention to Bill O'Reilly? His show has turned into another one of those "Aruba" shows where they examine issues that don't mean shit.

You mean issues like....Bill O'Reilly? No television show is more aptly named. Because the only thing that factors in Bill's world is Bill.

McClellan's probably a good guy. He was just hugely over his head dealing with the boys and girls on the press shortbus.

Yes, but he also just happens to be spot on right about issues that don't mean shit more than the other talking heads.

Besides, he's just biding his time waiting for the midterms.

Don't get me wrong, I don't watch Fox News all that often. I normally have the Communist News Network on in the background to facilitate eavesdropping on the enemy, but I did just happen to be watching good ol' Bill when he had Tony on his show last week.

Rack! Tony Snow.

Super. So he's right about that dead girl in Aruba, the Duke rape case, some missing groom on a cruise ship and the war on Christmas. I'll be sure to refer to his wisdom when questions regarding "dead people I don't give a shit about" arise.
