I am guessing you will have a car. If not you will need to grab one. Have you spent any time in Boston before? Providence?

Take advantage of the trip and load up on lobster, they have tons of places there that offer all you can eat.
BTW if you haven't had a chance to do the historical tour, do it. That is if you make it out to Boston.

Go to Foxwoods and sit your ass down at a Poker Table and perhaps you'll run into Jon...he plays poker for a living...then report back when you crack his aces with some shitty hand and he wets himself...
I would agree with most get out and see the historical stuff and what not...the wife was in Boston for a training class (SAP a few years back) and she loved the historical stuff and of course the good food up there...

You'll have three weeks? Wow...
Boston is great. You won't have any trouble finding some things to do there.
The White Mountains in New Hampshire are definitely worth a look over a weekend.
I haven't been to Maine's Acadia NP, but boy, I fucking hope to. It looks amazing...if you get National Geographic, last month there was a great spread on that park.

Cape Cod is kinda cool. Whale-watching is fun off of Provincetown, and there are some crazy tall sand dunes up that way that are interesting to see.
Also, a day trip out to Concord is definitely worth the time. Walden Pond, the Minuteman National Historic Park, and Emerson's residence are all worth checking out. You'll see some great old New England towns, places that haven't changed a whole lot, at least to look at them.
Don't fall into a Cranberry Bog there in Plymouth...

I almost forgot, if in Boston you gotta do what every tourist does in Boston.
Go by Cheers and scream NORM!
