If Barlow isn't traded , he will probably start , while splitting time with Gore . Barlow had his best seasons when he split time with Hearst .

I don't think Gore is a 1000 yard runner yet . But if he and Barlow combine for over 1200 , that would surely help Smith .

Smith BTW has added 15 more pounds this offseason , and insiders say he is throwing the shit out of the ball .

Good sign for one of the worst offenses in football .

Throwing the shit out of the ball does not correlate to being able to shred NFL defenses. Smith just plain sucks and you'll probably see some Ryan Leaf type blowups by mid year.

I think is he was gonna go Ryan Leaf , he would have done that already . He is only 22 years old . We'll see how he does under Norv Turner's tutelage . The offense should be easier to understand than McCarthy's version of the WCO . Plus , hopefully , Smith will have some actual targets to throw at .

The running game has to help him this year . Year 3 should really show how Smith is gonna turn out , who is already learning his second playbook after his first year .

Damn that's stacked. I bet you wouldn't let one of them go for a kicker.
