Only in liberal Oregon could this happen.

Now you have to understand that Oregon has some of the most strigent liquor laws in the country. You have to buy hard liquor at state licensed outlets, and only during certain hours. Getting a fifth of anything in this state takes more time and effort than buying a fucking car.

Now also looking at this ugly bitch, what's the over / under on her plastic work ??

I recently booked a two cases where the client's allegedly operated their rigs while under the influence of alcohol and had a previous duece within 7 years.

Needless to say, I settled one of the cases last week, actually went to high school with the client, and got him 15 days work alternative, no jail, the statute had 90 days minimum and 1 year max.

The client was thrilled, but it was hairy in the courtroom because my client showed up for sentencing and I could smell beer on his breath. Why he would knock a few back before standing in front of the Judge is interesting to me, but it required careful spacing on my part so that the bailiff or the DA would not catch the odor :)

You should have got the same sentence for being a scumbag lawyer and getting your drunk client off. Nothing says drinking problem like being fucked up in court at your DWI trial.
