I thought he was a WR, what does he care about what the NFL is doing with QBs

Matt Leinart Interview:

ESPN is interviewing Matt Leinart..."I didn't know it was going to be a cut throat buisness, college isn't like this, I'm used to USC where everyone knew who I was".

Ha Ha,

Before the draft Lendale White had this to say about Vince Young. It is almost prophetic considering he is now his teammate.
"I would never trade away the three years I had with Matt as my quarterback. But if I was an NFL team, I don't know how you could not take Vince Young. A quarterback's job is to control the game. When a guy throws for 260 and runs for 200 in the biggest game of the year, he doesn't just control a game, he shows he can completely take it over. Nothing against Matt, but Vince has to be the No. 1 guy."

Fuck you, I am willing to bet whatever you want that Vince Young never makes it to the Pro-Bowl as a QB.

How about this, until Football Jesus makes it to the Pro-Bowl, you will carry the sig I give you during the off season of every year until he is out of the NFL, or if Football Jesus makes All Pro, I will do the same until he is retired.

All Pro as a QB mind ya.

You game?

Reggie who?

Unlike some around here, I don't swing from the sack of our QB after he leaves. Best of luck at the next level kid.

Now, on to Aggie football...Stephen McGee. Is he the answer? Doubt it...

I heard that as well and had to laugh. This coming from a guy who will will have to change to WR in order to make a roster. Reggie was a good college QB, but you cant take off 10 times in the NFL or you will get hurt i.e. Cunningham, McNair, Vick. Peyton and Brady are a dying breed? Umm, I think Carson Palmer is what 25? Peyton is 29? Brady 27? I would say they are in their primes. Ben Roethlisberger? Drew Brees? I would say Donovan is a drop back passer more than a runner and he is only 29.

I would much rather take a big, strong armed QB who can read defenses over a 2 read "playmaker" who is going to miss 2-3 games a year.
