Cookies & Ice Cream

Man, Keebler Pecan Sandies topped off with a couple dollops of butter pecan ice cream is pretty fuckin' dope.
Just sayin'.

I bought one of those marble stones form BB&B that you can freeze and do your own marble slab ice cream. I make my famout chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips, about 3" in diameter. I leave them gooey in the middle when I make them.
Once they've cooled down (I freeze them for 30 min or so to really harden them), I take the marble slab out of the freezer and plop some belgian chocolate ice cream on the slab. I mix in a (un)healthy amount of crushed heath bars into the ice cream. Then, I sandwich the ice cream/heath mixture in between a couple of the cookies, wrap in plastic and set back in freezer to set.
I am going to Orlando tomorrow and the wife is out of town. I made 3 of these for her and put them in a box in the freezer. When she gets home from her trip, she has instructions to open her Mother's Day present in the freezer. Looking forward to the "rewards" when I get back in town.
