Yeees, I saw this earlier. He is good man, but I wish he had some of the intagibles and skills that he preaches on that site. Still dont know why he didnt start the UF game is senior year. By the time he was brought in, it was too late.

Students recognized Rix as he parked his sports utility vehicle near one of his classes last Thursday, and chastised him as he walked away. They then left a note on his windshield and called police, who put a lock on a tire so the vehicle couldn't be moved, school officials said.
This is just the latest off-the-field problem for Rix, a redshirt junior from Santa Margarita, Calif. Last year, he was suspended for Florida State's Sugar Bowl game for sleeping through a final exam.
Last season, he was benched after the Notre Dame loss, in part for being late for team meetings and for poor class attendance.
FIVE losses to Miami. That should be it right there.
Great guy, btw.

He was a good kid. Little stuck on himself, but a man of god and leading a good honest life now.

Nobody's mentioned the fact that his signature features "laces" in the middle of the "C" and he dots his "i" with a cross. God, what a fucking homo.

I liked that he used to hand out business cards that said: "Chris Rix, Starting Quarterback, Florida State University"

Crown doesnt post here, slowtard. Rix made some mistakes at FSU but he is a good kid. I dont hold a grudge against him anymore, unlike some FSU fans.

I guess its a joke, but no less annoying.

No, it's the use of the word "tard" with specific posters who have given valid reasons as to why they dislike the way that word is used.

K,
Tard, while insensitive, will always be gloss started way back that is hard to get rid of around here. I still type it sometimes just because of habit, but I always backspace it and put in something else.
Just sayin'.

I understand that, and while I don't like it, I agree. But as we've stated in a few different threads, there are spme things people consider off limits for a variety of reasons. While I don't claim to know much, I do know what certain hot button words/topics are for certain posters. We know that Nolsey (for very good reason) dislikes that word. Nolsey is a big boy and can fight his own battles, but when that specific word is directed at him, I think it shows very poor use of judgement on the other posters part.

Agree. Nolesy, while sucking horsecock at UBB code, is a stand-up dude and I know damn well what not to say to him and what is ok.

The hard part is trying to get everyone to stop using it. That's much easier said than done.

Anyone going to a Rix QB academy should be shot. For being such a "good" guy, and "following in the footsteps of the Lord", he certainly didn't learn about being humble and being seen instead of heard....
Rix = tard
^^^^^^ Is that use ok?
Nolesy, fuck this thread man...tell us about your hike! You nail some wilderbeast or what?

Oh yea the hike. Well I had a change of venue and went to Shenandoah national park in Virginia instead of N. Geo.
The hiking during the day was absoulutely stellar. Great weather and the trees were just starting to bud. The AT runs right up the park for 100 miles.
Man for a fat flatlander like myself climbing those mountain climbs were some work. legs and feet held up great but lungs none functional climbing steep grades with a 45lb. pack.
hooked up with a guy around my age and we hiked a couple days together. He was a local and a huge Va. tech fan that thinks M. Vick is a thug and glad to be rid of him.
Freaking deer EVERYWHERE and tame too. Chiefs Dad would have tagged out in 2 minutes with his hammer. I mean these rascals would walk up to you if you held your hand out thinking you wanted to feed them. Often walked by them with in 5 feet and they just looked at me. They were healthy looking and bigger than our deer here. I told a ranger that we did'nt let our deer walk around like stray dogs where I live.
There were very few people in the park that time of the year which was nice. How ever one night I had the shit scared out of me by a bear.
Spaced through out the park, every 13 miles or so they have shelters. Theses are stone built 3 sided buildings that hikers may sleep in if they choose. They are built next to water sources, usually small streams . They can sleep up to 10-12 hikers. You may also pitch a tent if you don't like sleeping with a bunch of snoring strangers who stink.
Out side of the shelters are 12 foot steel poles with hooks so one can hang thier food. It is very unwise not to hang your food out of a bears reach. I'm in a shelter by myselfone night and just as it gets dark...........I hear a crashing through trees coming down the mountain side. You geussed it. Mr bear trarts growling, grunting, and trying to climb up the pole. Mr. nolesy mean while lays in his sleeping bag shiting bricks as all he has to defend himself is a buck knife and and hiking poles. The bear left aftyer about 10 minutes of trying to climb the pole with no luck and staining Nolesy's panties. Needless to say I slept not that night. Did see a cool moon rise over the mountain range at 3:30 am.
Over all a gret adventure.
Lessons learned:
loose weight
stop smoking
get a hiking partner
bears probably don't make good pets.
This fat ole man can still bring it.
