The shit he pulled when Bonds was at bat... he should never fuckin' play again in MLB!!!! Ever!!!
5 straight pitches with the only intent to hit Bonds!
Bonds handled being hit like a pro... if it was me, that fucker would never be able to walk again without a fuckin' wheelchair!

Maybe a knuckleballer but ESPN reports it like this...
Springer's first pitch was a slider that skipped two feet behind Bonds. Bonds tiptoed out of the way, then turned and politely scooped up the ball as it caromed back at him.
But as he tried to hand it to home-plate ump Joe West, he found West was kind of occupied, because he was busy issuing warnings -- to Springer, to manager Phil Garner, to everyone but the BALCO grand jury.
So naturally, Garner and Springer descended on West to debate those warnings. Bonds just leaned on his bat, taking it all in, an amused look on his face.
When the debate ended, Springer kept firing. Ball two was a slider that nearly drilled Bonds in the knees. Next came a fastball that Bonds had to squirm out of the way of, only to have it nick the knob of his bat for a foul ball.
The fourth pitch was a 93-mph fastball, also way inside. Then came the grand finale -- a 92-mph smokeball that nailed Bonds in the upper back.
Joe West lurched into his ejection dance. And off marched Springer, to a major standing ovation.

Its been going on for over a hundred years. It isnt done enough these days. One reason for the explosive numbers is that pitchers today dont know how to pitch inside or do it effectively.

Look at it this way- the two hits and the flyball Bonds got off them were from outside pitches. Springer was trying to get the ball inside & tight. Bonds plays pretty close to the plate- if you're trying to pitch a guy like that inside- its going to hit him.
Either that or Springer just hates the cheating fucker and did it on purpose.
Either way- Rack Him! Every pitcher that faces Bonds should bean him or intentionally walk him. Don't give him another chance at hitting a homerun ever again.
On a side note- it is great watching how much he is falling apart. His bat speed has lost something and he can barely even walk.

The topic is Albert Pujols telling the media that they are going too far with Barry. Albert Pujols would have at least 2 more MVP awards by now if Barry and his stats weren't all juiced up, yet the guy wants the media to back off. WTF?

Albert Pujols is a good baseball player and has presented himself as a class act.
Barry Bonds is a good baseball player that appears to have tried to be a SUPERSTAR by using steroids and whatever he could find. Barry does not present as a class act but you do have to look at the BIG Picture.
He grew up the son of a highly talented Black Major League Ball player that did not get the same respect as his fellow white baseball players. His father abused alcohol and was not likely a good father.

Well, yeah, I get what he was doing and what motivated him--fuck if you're going to hit the fucker, hit him for Chrisakes-fucker can't move. Of course, Springer could have actually attempted to compete but didn't. Maybe that's why he's making squat and pitches in games with his team down 11-3.
