My thought are that I'll pass.

Some good bands, though. Catch is, many of the coller ones on there either live here, or hang out playing clubs here, and I can see them all the freaking time.

Those lineups sound alright, except they manage to throw in a band that would make me vomit. I don't even ever want to be in the same county as NIN, much less the same amphitheater.

And the problem with the Not In The Gorge Amphitheater, is that if you're not down with the band onstage, there isn't much else going on. Once you're in, you're in, and it's like a 1/2 mile walk to the parking lot. You can't get to the river, which would be cool as hell to go for a swim in between sets or whatnot, but that ain't happening. I see in their link they say Not In The Gorge was named best outdoor concert venue in North America 9 out of the last ten years. Cool, I guess...catch is, they built it a million miles from anywhere. I guess it's no big deal if you live in Tri Cities or Spokane, but that's about 5 hours of hauling-ass for me.

But there's some solid bands, for sure.

You never know that time of year, but there's a darn good chance that in Eastern Washington, it's going to be about 150 freaking degrees, with approximately 0.01% humidity (that area has an arid climate, despite what the images the name Washington conjures up). And the promoters will make sure that there isn't so much as one drop of water available unless you pay $6 a bottle for water. The beers just go up from there. That's taking advantage of the situation a little too much-imo. Years ago, I went to an outdoor Metallica show when it was about 105 out, and it was the same deal. Sure, hundreds of people had heatstrokes and passed out and ended up in the hospital, but hey -- they made a few extra bucks off the deal, so it's justified.
