The One Board, by the Numbers

If I was on acid......or momentarily bored in Korea........
I might see this.
8: Bizzarofelice
An 8 has got to have an angular build.
He appears slender, perhaps even fragile, but that is rope-a-dope.
No, he is rangy and strong.
He is dependable, solid, and he consistently makes plays.
Famous 8s include Cal Ripken, Carl Yastrzemski, and Kobe Bryant.
99: Dinsdale
A 99 has a flair about him, a flair for the dramatic.
He's a solid and sometimes FLAMBOYANT performer.
He takes pride in his flamboyance nearly as much as he does in his excellence.
At the end of the contest, you don't forget that #99 was a participant.
Famous 99s include, Wayne Gretzky, Warren Sapp, and Mark Gastineau.
1: mvscal
A 1 has got to be smallish, but tenacious, fiery, and GOOD.
You can't suck if you're wearing 1.
He's a bulldog who'll snap at you and simply not let go.
Blood and guts type.
Famous 1s include Ozzie Smith, Billy Martin, and Oscar Robertson.
12: PSUFAN
A 12 has to be, most of all, a leader.
Never afraid to face the heat.
He may not be the BEST player, but he is among them.
Steady, heady, and ready.
Answers the bell.
Famous 12s include Terry Bradshaw, John Stockton, and Joe Namath.
44: Tom IN Va
A 44 might appear barrel-chested, or even, dare we say ..... fat ...?
However, he is always among the top players in the arena.
Often doing his thing quietly, and then .... BANG .....he'll hit you with something big.
Famous 44s include Hank Aaron, Jerry West, and Reggie Jackson.
32: Luther
A 32 is a stud, simple as that.
But as an artist, he can be known to be prone to the fits of an artist.
More 'moody' than a 34, but at the end of the day, no less effective.
Famous 32s are many, and they are outstanding.
Among them are Jim Brown, Magic Johnson, and sandy Koufax.
51: Raydah James
A 51 will COME AFTER YOU.
He's big and bad, and he isn't shy about telling you that.
Not one fond of finess, no, he's bringing it right into your kitchen.
Hide the women and children.
Famous 51s include Dick Butkus, Randy Johnson, and Trevor Hoffman.
34: Biggie
Like 32, a 34 is a stud, but he might have a slightly 'bigger' appearance to him.
When he enters the arena he'll do his thing, and nobody is gonna stop it.
He can be dazzling, but he is straight up ...... money in the bank.
One of the few performers you're pleased to pay to watch.
Famous 34s include Walter Peyton, Shaq, and Nolan Ryan.
83: PrimeX
Like an 8, to be an 83 one needs an angular build.
He could be a bit quirky, but he's definitely got game.
He'll lurk, and then hit you with something big at a BIG time.
Known to play with an odd 'smirk' on his face.
Famous 83s include Ted Hendricks, Andre Reed, and Willie Gault.
13: Uncle Fester
A 13 marches to the beat of his own drummer.
Oh, he's a competitor, make no mistake about it.
He's got a mouth, and he'll have his say.
He leads, but in a different fashion than say, a 12.
Others want to play on a 13s team.
Famous 13s include Wilt Chamberlain, Dan Marino, and Don Maynard.

My wife is here in Korea, Doron, but nice fffort anyway.
91: Derron
Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but can be entertaining.
We laugh at him, not with him.
Yes, he'll do the dirty work, and help the bottom line.
No, he won't do so without occassionally shitting himself.
Famous 91s include Dennis Rodman, Kevin Greene, and Chet McGlockton.
24: Goober McTuber
Similar to a 44, but appearing a bit smaller in stature.
More agile and rangy than a 44, however.
Often a jack of many trades.
Numerous skills, and he'll provide a show.
Famous 24s include Willie Mays, Ricky Henderson, and Bill Bradley.
2: trev
Near a 1, but most 'ghostish', if that makes sense.
A likeable sort of 'gladiator', with a distict sense of pride about them.
They'll stick their nose in where others wouldn't dare.
Famous 2s include Secretariat, Derek Jeter, and Tommy Lasorda.

00 Cicero
Not known for his smarts, some say the number reflects his IQ. Hung around for a long time thus explains inflated post totals. Takes a licking but keeps on ticking.
Famous 00 : Robert Parish

0: Toddowned
0 is a number not often requested by the better contributers.
In fact, 0 is not issued at all in the NFL.
Toddowned's role is similarly ceremonial. 0 is cheered lustily by the worms, as they regard him as feed, and soon.

74: Cicero
In the trenches, play after play after play after .......
A grunt, burly, husky, .... with a curl in his hair.
A 74 must be tallish, and have lummox-like qualities.
Will not tire easily, and will have an occassional shining moment.
Mainly known for his persistent bullishness.
Famous 74s include Merlin Olson, Bob Lilly, and Bruce Matthews.

A quiet contributor with a workman-like quality about them
Famous 17s include John Havlicek, Harold Carmichael and Brett Hull.

30: Wolfman
Between a 40 and a 20 in physical stature.
A 30 has legs, ..... STRONG legs.
More agile than a 40, more 'straight forward' than a 20.
He's definitely a north/south type.
A 30 can have periods of brilliance. *dumpater*
Famous 30s include Bernard King, Tim Raines and Terrell Davis.

Rack poptart.
3/8: Roger_the_Shrubber
A 3/8 spends the majority of his time in the horizontal position.
He tends to inhale more pharmaceuticals than other fractions.
Retention of information is a staple of a 3/8. Also, retention of water.
3/8 fear the sun and human contact.
This fraction excels in chat rooms and recliners, more so than a 1/4 or a 5/6.
Famous 3/8ths include Rush Limbaugh, Kirstie Alley and Orson Welles.

14: 88
A 14 is in the same 'family' as a 12 or 16, but is perhaps a bit more 'cerebral'.
Bob Griese Sr. was a classic 14, with coke-bottle glasses and all.
He's a gamer to the bone, but with not as much fan-fare or 'show' as others.
A worker and a winner.
Famous 14s include Bob Griese Sr, Pete Rose, and Bob Cousy.
*edit*
Small problem, 88. Bob Griese was a 12. haha
I blew that one.
Fuck it, you're
still a 14, damn it...!!!
Griese was a 14 if I ever saw one.
The 'phins screwed the pooch on that one.
out...........
41: Shoalzie
A 41 has a bit of 'workhorse' in him.
A lunchbox type of player.
He's reliable, steady, consistent.
Not one to make mental errors, although not the most physically gifted.
Famous 41s include Tom Seaver, Wes Unseld, and Dirk Nowitzki.
10: Nishlord
A 10 is
almost in the 12, 14, 16 category, but slightly different.
More extoverted than the above, a 10 is interested in performance, but also places importance on his 'niche'.
Somewhat smallish, but he clearly plays BIG.
Famous 10s include Pele, Fran Tarkenton, and Walt Frazier.
27: Mikey
Very similar to a 24, a 27 is, but taller, and slightly huskier.
Has some pop in his bat.
Multi-skilled, stubborn, proud.
A team player, but slighly aloof at the same time.
Loves life, loves winning.
Famous 27s include Juan Marichal, Carlton Fisk, and Catfish Hunter.
11: patsy stone
Close in similarity to a 2, the 11 has a 'waifish' quality to it.
Sublety and finesse are important parts of this players package.
Not a power player, but capable none-the-less.
Famous 11s include Isiah Thomas, Phil Simms, and Carl Hubbell.
50: The Assassin
Close to a 51, but not
quite as angry or aggressive.
A fierce competitor, however.
The 50 would just as soon do the 'little' things to help his team as he would make the Sportscenter Highlights.
Like a lion, the 50 is a proud player.
Famous 50s include Mike Singletary, David Robinson, and Dave Rimington.
btw, RACK Mr. Cohen

68: Trev
69 minus One which would be Trev smoking her old mans pole while he's passed out on another drunken bender to dull the pain of being married to a gluttonous, cottage cheese thighed, board parasite

19: KC Scott
A 19 is a sturdy package, combining smarts with athletic ability.
A savvy performer.
You sense an air of 'pride' about a 19, more-so than an 18.
Like a 14, he is cerebral, but he is larger in physical stature....taller.
A 19 is not afraid to stick his neck out and lead.
Famous 19s include Johnny Unitas, Robin Yount, and Bob Feller.

89: Y2K
An 89 is above all, hard-nosed.
An old-school breed who goes about his task with a chip on his shoulder.
No-nonsense competitor who puts in an honest day of work for an honest paycheck.
An endearing blue-collar player with just a hint of opulense added to the mix.
Famous 89s include Mike Ditka, Fred Dryer, and Otis Taylor.
6: BSmack
Not as wispy as an 8, 9, 83 or 88, but not far off it.
A 6 has a touch more meat on the bone, while maintaining a sort of 'feline' feel to him.
A quiet competitor, a 6 can be extremely dogged and persistent in pursuit of it's goal.
Famous 6s include Bill Russell, Doc J, and Stan Musial.

I've seen your pic, Jsc.
A 3 is in the 'family' of the 8, 9, 83, and 88.
An angular sort.
Your angular days are in the rearview mirror, my friend.
But what the hell do I really know ...?
I listed PrimeX as an 83 and his ass may be as wide as The Bolivar Penninsula.
31: Jsc
The 31, like the 14, is also often a cerebral sort.
His cup is filled with a bit more natural athleticism than the 14, however.
No, not that cup, ..... sicko.
A 31 can be a game-changer, a true elite of the arena.
31 is not a 'horn-tooter', and is pleased to work in the shadows, so long as he is ultimately recognized.
Famous 31s include, Greg Maddux, Reggie Miller, and Fergie Jenkins.

A 15 is a lot like a 14, but he goes about his business in an even more workman-like fashion.
15 is a very good teammate, a good soldier.
He won't beat himself, and he plays the percentages.
A coach's favorite.
Famous 15s include Bart Starr, Thurman Munson, and Earl Monroe.
