Currently you can't go wrong with Coach K.

I'm going with either Loot or Pitino.

All time?

Yoda of Westwood.

He has won 3 of em.

I'd take Jim Calhoun second.

nah

he had the best team in tourney, and he couldn't even get them 40% interested in the game. they mentioned in huddles, half the team was not paying attention, the other 1/4 was looking in the stands. Not exactly a glowing refelction of great coaching. He's had a ton of talent(look on nba rosters) seems he might be a bit overrated,

I hope that doesn't cause Babs to return to the boards...it's been great not seeing him around these parts since March.

Today, in the title game, I want Calhoun. In the runup leading to the Final Four, however, give me Coach K.

Don't believe me? Check the records. Calhoun is undefeated all time in Final Four play. When his teams choke, they do it before the Final Four. Coach K, OTOH has an impressive record of reaching the Final Four (10 times in last 21 seasons), but isn't quite so impressive in the Final Four (9-7 overall record in Final Four).

All-time? John Wooden. Not even close.

Yeah, all kinds of possibilities.

Sucking off a horse. Riding a dildo. Taking a shit.

The worst thing about Tony Barone (aside from me having to watch him coach my first 2 years at A&M) was that he played his damn son SO much and he sucked.

Granted, Barone had to deal with all the sanctions placed on A&M due to their basketball program violations prior to him joining A&M. Still...the team is so bad you have to play your 6'0" son at PG who can't dribble???

Uconn had to put up with the same shit back in the late 90s when Calhoun's son played. It was shameless. The difference was that Uconn was a contender at the time, so, fortunately he didn't see that many minutes.

I realize that successful coaches are basically god and can do as they please, but, it still took some nerve to put your div1-AA, at best, son on a top national program.

I think he just played 2 years.
