since our local tourney has gone to shits, im going to hold some 10 man tourneys and games.

chips? anyone know of a good place to get them, i know there are a zillion places, but some are shit, and some are nice chips for cheap prices.

i'm going to build a table(uncle is a master carpenter, so i guess he will actually be building it) Anyone built one, or have a buddy who did?

i was looking at these couple of tables as examples

the 3rd one gets my vote.

as for chips..i used to love the clay/plastic mix chips...but the more and more tournies i get in on at the casinos..the more and more i like the straight up plastic chips.

just a personal preference.

Mine too.

But it doesn't appear any of those tables have chip-racks...wtf?

Same dealio on the homefront here. Got the means and the space to hold tournies. Got a finished 12X20 outbuilding, that's called "The Card Room" (it's got pinball and 80's arcade machines out there, too...oh, and it's got a fully stocked bar). But buying pre-made tables is just too expensive a proposition to try and host 40-person tournies every so often...so homemade has to be the way it is.

So if anyone has built a nice one, has any cool plans, or if Adel's table turns out cool...post up some pics and describe the plans. Ease/space of storage is a big factor to me, too, if there's to be more than one of them built.

I will post a pic of my craps table I am making. Actually making 2 of them for a Monte Carlo Casino Night fund raiser at the country club. It will just be a table top, nothing extravagant. It will work though.
