I'm on this fucking mountain at around 7,000 something feet... and I can't get espn and tnt with my rabbit ears. I don't really watch much tv unless it's sports.

So which is the best dish system and the best deal.

Thanks

reminds me of when I was living in the northern
Catskills down in a valley-- some dude ran a cable
to the top of the mountain and charged us all
$5 a month so we could get the 3 TV stations
from Albany !! Cable TV in its infancy !!

hell yeah.

You can spring for the collapsable RV type, or probably get a bootleg home system from one of them carnies for a couple hundys.

just bolt that thing on and go!

(actually you just slap it on top when you are parked and aim it SE)

Great. I'm half way there.

Now what type of system? You live in Nevada... I know they don't have tv there unless you have a sat.

What kind of dish are you using? Fuck, I don't have all day and shit... the games starting in a few hours.

I live in the middle of oregon. I roll with the digital cable.

Like I said check with your swap meet/blacmarket bootleg peddler crowd.

You'll get set up cheap

And in the parts of Oregon where we discourage having sex with immediate relatives, we have another name for it --

Nevada.

Hey, wear that badge with pride. It could be worse -- you could be in Eastern Washington, which anyone with any brains refers to as --

Hell

Tell me this is a joke? How long did you sit there "tweaking" your rabbit ears trying to dial in ESPN?

The wheel is spinning, but the hamster's dead.

Damn. The anti-M2 sentiment is so strong, even the "good" posters are moved to stupidity by it.

Gee, Hoontah...YA FUCKIN THINK?

Maybe I just empathize, since if I claim the sky is up, it sparks a three-alarm hate-on-Dinsdale session.

M2 could have written the Da Vinci Code and posted it here, and the tards here would have said "SHUT UP, YOU WINDCHIME SELLING FAIRY!!!! GET IT?? I CALLED HIM A 'WINDCHIME SELLING FAIRY'....RACK ME!!!!!"

That shit is stupid as all fuck. Read the posts, not the names next to them you fucking idiots....not that there isn't a certain few I usually just scroll right past (sup 88), but if you deem a poster worthless, then scroll on by. If not, then judge the post on its merit, not by who posted it.

The "rabbit ears" bit was pretty damn funny-imo

That actually made me laugh...

If someone missed the humor/or lack of it in my post... so be it.

I'm just glad someone "caught" it.

As "DeBono" once said... humor is a sign of intelligence. An ability to go from A to C without going to B.

I've spent the whole day going to Castle Rock... then Parker... and back to Castle Rock, CO. looking for a system I could hook up today.

With...

I may not have found the system I needed this evening to view the game... but

I'm more than happy with the system I ended up with.

She's been hanging out with her girlfriends the last hour or so...

Which has given me sometime to come back here and see if anyone had an opinion on the topic.

Oh well, in my world... I've won.

P.S. Headhunter... Tom Landry is still overrated!

If you align your rabbit ears southwest and wrap them in tinfoil, you'll get some pay per view channels.
