Five games, four cities, nine days:

Saturday, November 18
Missouri @ Iowa State (Ames, IA)

Sunday, November 19
Raiders @ Chiefs (KC)

Thursday, November 23
Broncos @ Chiefs (KC)

Saturday, November 25
Kansas @ Missouri (Columbia, MO)

Sunday, November 26
Cardinals @ Vikings (Minneapolis)

Lots of driving, lots of tailgating, maybe some scalping - although I have tickets set up for most of the games - and a great football fix.

I've got an alternate plan as well - three games, three days, three cities:

Saturday, October 28
Oklahoma @ Missouri (Columbia, MO)

Sunday, October 29
Seahawks @ Chiefs (KC)

Monday, October 30
Patriots @ Vikings (Minneapolis)

Who's in?

I had a cool sports roady last year. Friend I work with grew up in Green Bay about 6 blocks from Lambeau. We scored ducats to the Bucs/Pack game, Bucs won. PackerFan are some of the nicest peeps I've ever met. Should you ever get the chance...GO.

Image

We flew to Chicago on the Saturday before the Packer game and went to the Cubs/Astros game at Wrigley. I'm not a fan of either team but hell, it's Wrigley Field. Got into Chicago around 10am, and headed straight to Wrigley. Hit the Cubby Bear and another sports bar, the name of which escapes me. Drank beers and watched college football waiting for 1pm game time to roll around. We scored the seats from a customer, dude's been a Cubs season ticket holder for over 20 years. I caught a foul ball off Morgan Ensberg.

That weekend not suck some.

Planning a trip to Cleveland this December to see the Bucs/Browns game. Step-dad grew up a Browns fan and became a Buc fan when he moved to Florida in the mid 70's. Whole fam damnily is making the roady for Christmas in Cleveland, boys will hit the game while the women sew, or gather or whatever it is they do.

You're in here asking peeps who fucking despise you to go on a roadie?

Did you get Jesus or have a brain transplant?

I'll put this in no uncertain terms.

Fuck off from my football forum, you piece of shit.

Could you be any more of a melty cunt, Whitey?

Anyway, anyone trolling for buddies on a msg board has bigger problems than he's letting on. The normal thing to do would be to take YOUR FRIENDS. Does anyone honestly consider anyone on here their friend?

I'd go if I could, KALEY.

Can't make the swim, sorry.

Last year we hit ND-Syracuse on Saturday, then Chicago-Carolina on Sunday and Packers-Vikings on Monday night in Lambeau. Nice trip. Lots of bourbon and bushmills. Three places where people know how to party and have a good time.

Crut -

That sounds like a great trip you had! I went to a Chiefs-Packers game in Lambeau in '03 and even though we all had our Chiefs gear on and came from 17 points down in the 4th quarter to win in OT, Packer fan could not have been nicer! Shit, they pulled us into so many tailgate parties afer the game you would have thought they won! Didn't get out of town until after 10PM for a game that ended about 3:30PM, but had to catch an early morning flight out of Milwaukee. Great time and would definitely go back there!!!

I've got a couple of pals in for this trip so should be a blast!

I'll meet you somewhere on I-70 and make you luv me.

Is that what you want?

Do you want to be fliends with somebody here, ghosty?

ps; For Kaley...nice restraint. A few more episodes like this and who knows?

Who the fuck am I kidding?

Yea...... I've made some real good fliends thanx to da bode.

Hooked up for drinks with 'em in San Diego, Las Vegas and soon to be Ohio.

Had a bunch of 'em over to my house, fed 'em, gave 'em booze and even let a few swim in my pool (Jayhawk raised the water level 3")

And in spite of all this, my garbage cans are still in tact and my dogs not pregnant.

That's not to say I want to meet all of you (or that I'd trust Wags to actually close the gate on his way into the pool), but Hell, I'll give most everybody one chance.

War Us (you know who you are)

Tart - since I haven't had much time the last few months, I'm gonna need thecondensedversion.

Where the hell are you, what are you doing there and when you getting back?

BTW - Looks like I may actually have a reason to visit Houston in the fall.

But I promise not to piss in the pool. Doesn't that count for something?

From what I gather by way of inference, 'tarts wifey is Korean and the pussy whipped tennis instructor (whom we all know and luv) allowed her to drag his dumbass over there to meet her ancestors...or some such shit.

Or maybe he's just on a "fact finding" mission.

I originally gave him 120 days before he hitched a ride back home. Fucker may yet prove me wrong.
BTW - Looks like I may actually have a reason to visit Houston in the fall.
I'll be in Houston myself on July 31st picking my daughter up from the airport on her return from Ecudor from her churchs' mission trip....just in time to whisk her off to the AFA Nationals opening ceremonies being held in Beaumont the very same day.

'tart, I'd fucking appreciate it if you were there to guide me about and point me in the right direction, instead of galavanting about some Asian shithole...but you do what you have to do.

Texass trolls...what the fuck is there to do in Beaumont in the first week of August, other than suffering from heat stroke?

Just got back from this AWESOME trip!!! See below for updates on each game and experience! Highly recommended if you can pull it off!!!

Saturday, November 18
Missouri @ Iowa State (Ames, IA)

Rolled into Ames Saturday AM and was able to scalp a couple of tickets from some co-eds who looked like they had just been gang banged on a pirate ship the night before. Didn't have much time to tailgate but Ames looks like a great college town and the fans were pretty cool considering I was in my MISSOURI sweatshirt. Game cam down to the final seconds when MU scored what appeared to be the game winner on 4th down with about 20 seconds left, only to have a bullshit holding call go against them. Chase Daniel gets sacked on the next play - game over - 21-16 IOWA STATE. The Big XII later sent a letter of apology to MU saying they blew the call and MU should have won. Oh, well! Hit the road afterwards to KC for the next game on the agenda.

Sunday, November 19
Raiders @ Chiefs (KC)

After a night of drinking on the Plaza, got up early for the tailgate at Arrowhead. It was a great day- sunny and in the 60's - BBQ, beers, and hot chicks in CHIEF gear roaming around. Had tickets through a buddy and game was a nailbiter to the bitter end when Brooks came through with a nice INT and Chiefs escaped with a W! Tailgate lasted for almost three hours AFTER the game until we got tossed. No fights and very few Raider fans compared to other years.

Thursday, November 23
Broncos @ Chiefs (KC)

After a nice Thanksgiving at my Uncle's place, headed out for a huge tailgate complete with an entire SECOND Thanksgiving dinner! KCPAUL would have loved it!! People were going a little crazy in the parking lot and you could tell a few had been downing "cheering fluids" for a few days or started VERY early that morning! Denver fans were abundant and mostly not being assholes like they are when in Denver. The game was not that exciting but the crowd was electric and really into it! Being my third tailgate and game in six days, I was slowing down a bit. The crowd was a bit more white trash than normal - I'm guessing regular season ticket holders gave up this game to travel and handed the seats down to buttholes who attend only one game a year.

It was like "Escape From New York" in the parking lot after the game. Fights, beer bottles, fireworks, cars honking. You would have thought the Chiefs just won the Superbowl instead of just the yearly beatdown of the Broncos.

Saturday, November 25
Kansas @ Missouri (Columbia, MO)

Made it to Columbia on a glorious 70 degree day and saw the Tigers finally handle the Gayhawks after losses in three straight years. Hit Booches before the game and Shakespeare's after then hit the road for Minneapolis.

Sunday, November 26
Cardinals @ Vikings (Minneapolis)

A nice day for this time of year in the north. Had great seats - 2nd row behind Cardinals bench - 45 yard line. Game ended up being entertaining with Vikings blowing a 31-13 lead and Leinart having his best day as a pro.

Lots of driving, lots of tailgating, maybe some scalping - although I have tickets set up for most of the games - and a great football fix.

Who's in?
My liver is not going to recover until New Year's and it was a ton of time on the road, but well worth it! Makes me want to make this an annual event just to see if I can do it! Some of you old timers on here must have some stories from trips like this! Let's hear it!!!!

Didn't lug a camera around as my hands were busy holding beers and flasks. I will say that the hottest chicks were at the Kansas-Missouri game in Columbia followed a close second by the Chiefs games. The games in Iowa and Minnesota were mostly dudes and chicks who looked like dudes.
