Sam...the amount of "talent" you seem to routinely capture on film, pretty much makes you the man(assuming you occasionally get some consent).

Old bastard can still pull...truly an inspiration. At 100 years old, you still approach bimbos that JTR would piss himself should he try.

About 4 weeks away. Returning to the Blues Festival(hopefully, no one dies on stage this time). Playing with John Hiatt, apparently. Next night is Ivan Neville. Next night is Little Feat. Don't think I'll be there far all 52 hours of music on the 4th of July weekend....but I'll be there a lot. Bastards bumped it up to $8 this year...plus two cans of food. If it wasn't 100% for charity, I might get my knickers in a knot over it -- always been 5 bones, for as long as I can remember.

Life is good.

Fairport this last weekend....

Thousands of people running wild in the streets...

Image

Searching for kettle corn and face painting booths.

And don't forget the hot chicks...

Image

In their rain gear.

Hey dude, I'm like totaly wasted...

Image

But at least the music was tasty. These guys played my wedding amongst other places. Last weekend they played for free on the back porch of my favorite bar. Good old fashioned classic and southern rock with a splash of some 70's singer songwriters thrown in.

Image

Ah yea, nothing like Canal Days.

Love's me some Luther (Dickinson, not that old fart who used to try and bust me for slinging drugs). You should fire up that geriatric bike and check out the Blues Festival one of these years...has your name written allllll over it. About 13+ hours per day (5 days) of non-stop blues/R&B/all sorts of stuff. Biggest blues show west of the Mississippi, biggest fireworks display west of the Mississippi...buncha almost-superlatives up in there. Guaranteed good time for all.

In just the last few years, I can't even remember all of the truly great performances I've seen -- but for some reason, the huge, laid-back crowd, and the great scenery (both of the geographical and human variety) always brings out the best in the performers.

Some of the ones that stand out in my memory in recent years have been: Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, Keb Mo, Jonny Lang, Canned Heat, Taj Mahal, NMAS (again), Karl Denson (AWESOME stage show if you ever get the chance), John Mayall, Los Lobos....that's just the last couplafew years. I seem to remember seeing Johnny Lee Hooker there way back when(but I'm sure I was wasted, so I might be imagining it).

Plus, there's some serious, nationally acclaimed local heavy-hitters, which are in no short supply that weekend (July 4th weekend, every year).

I'm stoked, in case you couldn't tell.

But, if I were in your shoes...I wouldn't have made it too far away from that bachelorette party in your pics. Fucking A, there's a solid group of nuggets. I could relate a great story about infiltrating such a party...just me and my bud being the only two guys able to do this...and reaped some serious benefits for doing so :winkwinknudgenudge:...but I won't.

Nice road story once again Sam! Y2K and I were through there briefly last October as you know. I forgot who was playing at the Blues City Cafe when we drove by it a few times trying to find Neely St.

If your idea of "pulling some" constitutes taking pictures of random girls in bars whom you likely didn't even lay a finger on, then you need to start hanging out with JTR on the weekends.

Tell you what -- YOU go on a roadie some wekend, and see if YOU get that level of talent to pose for your pics.

Bear in mind that Sam on an occasionally gets the bimbos to sit on his bike for pics.

OF COURSE, I'm quite adept at such things...from the "game" you display here, I very much doubt the same can be said for you...the lack of understanding you've already shown here cements that point.

No. I have an amazingly thick, and extremely attractive dark head of hair.

And I'm not talking about my balls. Although they could be construed as that too.

Chicks dig me.

Because I rarely wear underwear, and when I do, it's something unusual...satin or mesh.

If the damn pics would show up properly sized, y'all could see those women!

Nope. Not familiar with Charlie Vergo's. Where is that? We tend to hang right around Beale Street and the Peabody area. We walk or take the trolley everywhere.
Charlie Vergos Rendezvous is a rib joint downtown. Good stuff

Is most certainly NOT a cool suit. Any dude who wears a suit like that, I expect him to have a handful of rings. Any cat who would have rings on his hands like that is NEVER going to be cool.

Did I mention that people who wear sunglasses inside a building or at twilight need severe beatings?

Rack you.

Definitely not very attractive...at 10AM.

Big tits and a whole tub of ice-cold beer...not looking so bad...at 2AM.

That chick has what might be referred to as a "starter kit." She has a ways to go before she has the ass that is shapely, fat free and draws your attention from across the street, an arrogant Hottentot ass that dares you not to look at it and want to touch.

She ain't bad looking from the back tho. I'm surprised that that cat in the lavender suit wasn't caught on Sam's shot checking her out, maybe looking to see if she would "choose" him and end up as his "bottom bitch."

Yeah, but Ciceros need love, too.

And if I had a dollar for every one of those that seemed like a good idea...at 2AM....well, I'd have a lot of dollars.

But let he who is without sin cast the first stone...
