Another bunch of pussies who are, by default, less cool than me.
Can hardly WAIT to miss that one.
But, I suppose if I were to sit through a show I have little interest in, it would be at the Trampoline.

What's the worst that can happen? You'll get to tear yourself away from your roommate for a night, slam some beers, oggle some pretentious looking hipster girls who won't even so much as look you in the eye, and maybe you'll dig a song or two...all for about $12.

The (arguably) coolest club in the U&L (inarguably the coolest music region) don't do $12...unfortunately.
Pretty rare a ticket for
anything at the Trampoline goes for less than $20, usually more.
Wolf Parade isn't listed on their site yet. However, the shows coming in the next couplafew weeks are --
Eagles Of Death Metal
Built To Spill (two nights)
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
Neko Case
Social Distortion (two nights)
Jurassic 5
Not bad booking for a place of it's size...VERY cool club-btw. Nothing I'm too interested in, but notable acts. Take a look sometime --

Cool pics of some of the crazy artwork and whatnot.

I gotta admit - when I plan my future trip to the U&L, the timing will all be centered around a show or two at one (or more) of these venues you speak of.
