Sswiiiinng! Hillary set herself up on Coulter's tee for that one. First thought after reading that is that I would never play a game of pool with Anne Coulter...girl is thinking at least three steps ahead of everyone else as far as media moves, which is her game that she does so well. Coulter doesn't have the burden of having to be credible like a Senator, so she can play by her own rules in a media bitch fight. Hillary doesn't have a chance if she takes her mujer v. mujer so she needs to back off the media war and be the Senator that she is. Anything less reeks of mud wrestling, which leaves a horrible image in most minds and won't bode well for her if she tries to go Presidential.
Ann Coulter is good at what she does, which is to say the most outlandish thing she can think of to actually avoid any meaningful debate on an issue. She was asked point blank by Colmes last night why she has no problems with other 9/11 widows that have used their loss for political gain by supporting Bush, she said "That's a good question"... and then proceeded to not answer it. It doesn't impress me one bit to dredge up someone's past to avoid answering a complaint. That's like Dick Cheney complaining about someone's conduct and that person going, "Well perhaps Dick Cheney should think about not shooting someone in the face at close range before he complains about someone else's conduct." Easy.
This goes nowhere. Hillary is accountable to 20 million New Yorkers of differing cultures, races, beliefs and what not. Coulter is accountable to the million or so dipshits who pay money for her books. The, by definition, gives Coulter latitude that Hillary will never have. Hillary made her point and has no reason to get sucked into a pissing match with an anorexic skank who pees standing up.
