If you could create your own party for the 2008 election...
If you could create a brand new political party in time to have candidates on the 2008 ticket, what would it be called, what would its agenda/platform be, and who would your canadates be?

Then why the fuck would you want a member of the Bush family to lead such a party? On what past evidence do you base your opinion?Cicero wrote:Jeb Bush would def be my candidate. The party would be called the Fiscals and we would base our party lines around fiscal government spending, education and homeland security.

Jeb and George are brothers but politically they operate in different ways. I wouldnt expect a Dem to recognize that since their heads are stuck so far up their ass. B/c his last name is Bush, he is like his brother? Jeb preaches and practices fiscal spending and always has the state of Florida in a surplus. He has found ways of creating money for the state while at the same time finding ways to cut taxes every year for the past 8 he has been in office. Jeb is one of the top Governors in the country and would be a great President but he wont run if the Republicans win in '08.

So Jeb just waves his hand and money appears? If he is generating revenue for the state, that is a TAX. Seriously, get your fucking head out of your ass and recognize axactly how stupid you are sounding.Cicero wrote:He has found ways of creating money for the state while at the same time finding ways to cut taxes every year for the past 8 he has been in office.

You have no fucking clue what you are talking about. You obviously know nothing about the man or what he has done for the state of Fl over his 8 years. Take the time to read this. I doubt you will though.
Jeb Bush
* The economy: It's bursting at the seams. Florida is no longer totally reliant on tourism, agriculture, and the retiree industry. Under Bush, Florida has become the fourth largest high-tech state. Its bond rating has been hiked to Triple A. The economy, in Bush's words, was "knocked for a jolt" by 9/11. He "went out to shamelessly promote" tourism, and state construction projects were accelerated. It worked. He stubbornly fought a high-speed train connecting Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. It was approved in a 2000 referendum, only to be rejected in 2004 at Bush's urging.
* Taxes: Bush has slashed $20 billion in taxes over eight years and enjoys the heartburn this gives the media and liberals. "I do love it," he says. "Prior to my arrival, there may have been a tax cut or two, but normally the way to solve problems was to raise taxes." This year, the legislature killed what Bush calls "the evil, insidious intangibles tax" on stocks and bonds. His tax cuts are all the more shocking in a state with no income tax but with a balanced budget requirement.

You're right. I won't read your propaganda peice. Jeb is the governor of a state blessed with minimal infrastructure costs (compare NY's road repair budget to Florida's someday) and a booming population based on some very compelling climate and geography.Cicero wrote:You have no fucking clue what you are talking about. On top of that, every time you guys get wiped out by a hurricane, the feds step in and pour money into your state. How about we abolish FEMA and let you fucksticks who insist on building in hurricane country pay your own way the next time you get wiped out by a Cat 4 storm? We'd see how long Jeb could stay a "fiscal conservative" when he's got to pay his own bills.
I've seen 10 years and counting of the Bush family raising taxes and increasing spending. I don't think this country is ever going to be in a mood to go for another 4.
Oh, and do tell how Jeb is "creating money"?

In your own words, please tell me how Jeb is "creating money". Otherwise, feel free to skullfuck yourself with an armadillo.Cicero wrote:Glad I was right about you.
