Hey Mikey....
... Thanks for the advice on the raised garden beds. I built beds for my wife's garden this year due to our high clay content soil sucks for gardening. Mixed topsoil with peat, sand and fertilizer in the box and her plants are doing better than ever. By end of next week I'll have some tomatoes, zuchini and fresh peppers... Can't wait. I love veggies right out of the garden.
Yeah fuckers.... I'm back
Glad the raised beds worked out well. I was going to build some this spring but didn't get around to it. I may not have any tomatoes this year either, because I was waiting to plant until I got the beds built and it may be too late already. :?
If your tomatoes are just starting to flower you've got a lot more than "a few weeks" to wait. Just sayin'.

No, not really. When I pulled up my old plants from last year this spring they were still producing, but not much. I had planned on getting my plants into the ground early this year, but have not gotten around to putting in the beds. Probably won't have the time for awhile either.Toddowen wrote:Mikey wrote: I may not have any tomatoes this year either, because I was waiting to plant until I got the beds built and it may be too late already. :?

So said my wife after I posted this. This is the first year I'm directly involved with the gardening itself.. I usually just handle the heavier labor (Tilling, digging,ect..) she handles the plants.Mikey wrote: If your tomatoes are just starting to flower you've got a lot more than "a few weeks" to wait.
