And the only way someone from outside Nashville is going to make the charts easily is if they do a duet with someone already established there (ala Bon Jovi). Name another three artists who have crossed over to country & been a success.

When did Wynonna crossover?

That wasn't the fucking point. The point is that Brittney is starting to get a little too haggard to be dancing around in next to nothing. But she has a fan base and is from the deep south. She could easily make the transition with a competent producer and agent working on her behalf.

Oh, and as for crossing over, Shania Twain did a pretty good job of going from Canadian Debbie Gibson to Nashville superstar. Shit, country music isn't that different from adult contemporary anyway. All Spears would have to do is record some Faith Hill sounding adult contemporary and she would be on her way to crossing over. Mix that in with a few interviews about how she always loved singing country songs when she was a kid and how country music is her real true love and the trailer parks will be all hers.
