The Kenny Rogers signing was genius, the Todd Jones signing...not so good. They really didn't do that much to upgrade the team...it pretty much comes down to the Jim Leyland factor. This is by far the best move Dombrowski has ever made as Tigers' GM.

What about the Royals?

Interestingly enough, I'm going to the game tomorrow between these two shitty franchises. Scored some nice seats and a parking pass from one of our vendors at work. I figured why not? There's no Star Trek convention in town.

Just to get Fu all riled, I'd like to say that I'll be bringing my glove. 'cep't that it's pretty worn out, and I'll be right behind home plate under the screen, so no chance at a ball anyways.

and the Royals too.

Sad when not even George Brett wants anything to do with the franchise. If I can find it I have a 2 month old Sporting News whre they interviewed himand asked if he would be interested in a GM or a front office position there and he didnt say no,but HELL no.
