What the hell do the Lakers have to offer for Garnett?

Besides Kobe anyway?

Somehow I'm thinking the Odom, Brown, Bynum package ain't gonna cut it for a top ten player.

Other teams can and will offer more.

KG wants out in the worst way. Which lowers the Timberpups bargaining chips. Odom and our first rounder should be plenty.

Keep dreaming bro.

It's gonna take a lot more than that for KG.

Sorry but no way Minnesota lets him go that cheap.

Chicago has plenty of talent/picks to offer and they want KG as well.

No, really, I'm trying to figure out why "poor Lakerfan" when the Heat won with our coach and our players.

And I'm particularly amused that Golden State Coach Choker Fan, of all people, is playing the "poor Lakerfan" card. At least the Lakers have won championships in the last thirty years.

No, but then again, when I want to remember the days when my team reigned supreme, I can just go back a few years, instead of having to go all the way back to the Ford Administration.

And what is this crap about "The City"? Golden State hasn't played in San Francisco, "The City By The Bay", for years. The Coach Chokers play in Oakland, "A City By A Body Of Water". And they're not even the best franchise in Oaktown. Not even on those rare occasions when both the Raiders and the A's are horrible.

Sucks for you, Coach Choker Fan.

Is it me or did Shaq take a jab a Phil Jackson in his post game comments?
Says Pat Riley is the best coach he's ever played for. What was he his coach for like 6 months? Don't think he's gonna win 3 rings with Riley as his coach.

Rack the NBA for making sure the championship gets won by the team they wanted to win it, as they usually do.

I love the Heat winning (Won 40 bucks off them winning it in 6).. but that no call on Howard on that 3 at the end of the game was very suspect.

Unrack the NBA for their brand of shit basketball.

Rack Mark Cuban for calling out David Stern for being the weasel that he is.

So you conspiracy theory morons really thought the NBA had it arranged for Detroit to beat the Kobe/Shaq-led Lakers in 5 in 2004? Uh huh. I bet that's exactly what Stern was gunning for.

You honestly believe NBA players are honest? That things change that much once someone leaves, say, the University of Michigan... and enters the professional league. Baseball has steroids. Why wouldn't the NBA have point shavers and ref fixing?

What the FUCK is going on in that head of yours? So, your entire thought process on things consists of relying on wild conspiracy theories BY DEFAULT? You don't give practicality, realism and logic the benefit of the doubt? You take the mentally unstable viewpoing BY DEFAULT? Do you really think your scenario is more believeable?

When you look at the number of point shavers in college who were busted, that # practically makes up less than .01% of all players. These stories happen, but they are very rare. Yet, you're going to somehow try to convince an audience that this miniscule number of corrupt players have somehow carried over into the NBA, and are affecting the outcome of the NBA Finals?

Point shavers in college exist for the sole purpose of getting a quick and easy payday. The downside is only the ruin of your entire future. Why would multi-millionaire superstars take that kind of a risk when they're already filthy rich from the millions they receive from their contracts? And endorsements?

With the kind of money owners shellout to players, there is zero motivation for a professional athlete to "fix" games.

And you didn't adddress my point about the Pistons winning it all in 2004.

If the league was paying people off, how the fuck did Detroit beat the NBA's baby (the Lakers) in 5 games? Damn, they threw out all that jack to the players and refs, and a Piston victory in 5 games was the best they could do?

Explain yourself.

why did Pete Rose bet on his own team, when he was getting bank and had the hall of fame in the bag? people's behaviors don't change, they either get better at hiding them, rewarded for engaging in them, or caught. but people don't change, much.

how many people cheat in middle school, high school, college, on entrace exams, on their resumes, their taxes? people don't change. so if the payday is big enough, why not shave a little here, a little there, affect the outcome a little, particularly when the money you're making is chump change to big bad guys? if there are unscrupulous boosters at the high school and college level, why would things suddenly change at the professional level? same people, bigger stakes.

Damn. Completely forgot about the Nets. My bad. (It's so easy to do, though, isn't it?)

I guess the fellas did sweep a Finals. There you go, deuce. BODE the Lakers for doing it sometime this century.

Not that you had any credibility before, but you will continue to fall into negative territory unless you answer this.

Quit ducking and spinning. You want to talk about Pete Rose and people cheating on their taxes. I'd rather stick to the subject matter, which is the notion of the NBA Finals being rigged.

I actually like Cubes, as long as he's not cracking the Lakers too hard. Dude enjoys the game, he supports his team, he wants the Mavs to win and he's willing to spend the caysh to get it done. And has been from the get-go. Basically, he's the anti-Donald Sterling.
