I have several people who use outlook as their mail client. Everytime I send these people an attached file, it converts to a .bin or .dat file.

I have them save it as the original file type and it works fine, but WTF does outlook do that in the first place? Friggen annoying.

I've dealt with this many times. It often happens when someone forwards a message with an attached file. I tell folks to attach the file to a new message, and send it.

Then, I tell them about Thunderbird.
