.... you know, opinions, advice, various factual queries.

Well, smart people, what would YOU do if a relative gave YOU an authentic Nazi flag? You know the kind, red field, white circle with a swastika in the center?

Fly it in the front yard? Hang it on a wall? Can't return it, like to the store. Can't put it on ebay.

If it were me? Well, I think I'd come around to just giving it back after the utter fukkin' shock of getting it wore off. Failing that, I dunno. Flag burning was never a personal issue with me... I guess it would become so under those circumstances.

All in all, I can say pretty much for certain I'd kinda freak the fukk out a little. National Socialism? Not a fan.

If it had some historical significance, I'd keep it. If not, I'd thank them for realizing I always wanted to burn one of those things. Same with a U.N. flag.

If they gave me a Confederate flag, that would actually be kind of cool though.

All I really ask of the board (and all I hope you really expect of me) is that on average, we're funny and not (overly) stupid. If we also have takes and don't suck, so much the better.

Actually what I missed was exactly where Lincoln thought he had a mandate to abolish slavery what with his minority win (against 3 candidates) and a minority in both houses of congress..

In fact, when the South did seceed, the only things he was interested in were maintaining the forts and collecting the tarriff.

Yeah, I realize that some days, maybe even most, even that's too much to ask. My point is that I generally don't come here to try to solve the world's problems, or even my own. (No offense, but if I needed serious advice on something, T1B.com, thetrolls.net, etc. are the absolute last places I'd go.) I visit this place for comic relief. my uncle and his buddies while in the navy(cb's) stole a united nations flag(thing is like 15 feet wide and a rising sun flag off of a jap sub in a harbor0. he sold the united nations flag for good money, but is holding onto the rising sun flag.
