Speaking of death pool, anybody have this guy in theirs? They're saying he'll recover, but very few people survive pancreatic cancer.

No.

Mitt is a better balance candidate for GA, and no fucking way you'd see a Romney/Guliani ticket.

Good call...in NYC.

Romney has more experiance, will have more cash to spend and a better organization, and his so called negatives with the GOP right aren't as pronopunced as Rudy's.

Besides, who was the last mayor to win a nomination?

And you're still a slacker.

If the republicans want to put up a couple of moral crusaders at a time that Americans are tired of the GOP's fundamentalist agenda.....props, I guess.

You're a fucking idiot. The only person who "wins the death pool" is someone who predicts the most people who will die that year. If you are insinuating that he has a better chance of kicking the bucket than becoming the POTUS then you should state it as such. Otherwise, you should just shut the fuck up.

The GOP needs the religious freak vote. Rudy is pro-choice and a philanderer. Don't think the idiot preachers can polish that turd. Rudy can't get out the vote.

Also, America has long since forgotten about 9/11. Bush wants them to so he can justify his war.

Americans haven't forgotten about 9/11....that'll take a generation to happen.

We remember it quite well, enough to know that Bush's attempt to link it to Iraq is a bunch of crap.

I doubt it. The bar of expectations has been lowered pretty well by Bush.

If you think the USA has long since forgotten about 9\11 (as you claim), you're wrong. Try to not to dodge and weave your original statement. Admit you're wrong and we can move on to your next question posed above...

If you think the USA has long since forgotten about 9\11 (as you claim), you're wrong.
Then why has America allowed itself to be distracted away from the perpetrators? Have you forgotten?

9/11 is in the past. America has a new set of problems; gay marriage, drilling off the coasts, flag burning, newspapers that reprint items the adminstration doesn't like. Any lessons to be derived from the event have long since been spun into the ground. Fucking truth.

The unity and drive we had immediately after is gone. We're back to selfish squabbling amongst ourselves. 9/11 is forgotten.

Obviously Mississippi Neck has a giant altar to the event in his living room and has maintained it since 9/12/01. Should I apologize because I questioned just how diligent he is with his mania? You still collecting Franklin Mint plates depicting the event?

Rudy Guliani thinks being the eloquent and strong figurehead at the time of a national tragedy will get him the presidency in 2008? He wasn't a well-liked mayor before the event. He has "got homeless to stop cleaning windows" on his resume, 9-11 and nothing else. He has been forgotten. He was strong 7 years too early.

More importantly, he and Pataki despise each other. Rudy even went so far as to endorse a Democrat against Pataki. Don't think that will ever be forgotten by NY Republicans. Anybody remember what happened when Rudy tried to get his homeboy Bernie Kerik appointed as Secretary of Homeland Security? That guy was Rudy's closest ally and he was exposed as being totaly corrupt in a matter of days. If people don't think that Kerik's scandals won't touch Guliani they are fucking high. There are people here in NY just waiting to drop a bomb on Rudy should he ever even remotely resemble a frontrunner.

Sorry if you're distracted by political maneuvering and shiny baubles..most are not.

It is ok, if everyone has their opinion and views on how we acheive success against terrorism, right? Does that mean everyone has forgotten?

No. It means the USA moves on after 9/11 and works the way it should.
Are you really this dim?

I give him props for how he handled 9-11. As far as his popularity was before the event, probably something close to 50-50. He did use his popularity after 9-11 to get his boy Bloomberg elected.
Bizzarofelice wrote: He has "got homeless to stop cleaning windows" on his resume, 9-11 and nothing else.

Dude cleaned up much of NYC and Manhatten in particular. Anyone who spent any amount of time there before, during and after his time in office can attest to that. Look at Time Square in particular, it's transformation is nothing short of amazing. Of course the Pimp/Ho/Stripclub/pornoshop/freak contingents aren't to happy about it, but it's tourist fucking heaven now.
Bizzarofelice wrote: He has been forgotten. He was strong 7 years too early.
Werd! If he wanted to get back in the game and make a run at the Whitehouse, he'd need to do something dramatic that would create a national buzz, like run against Hillary and take her seat.

The only person who you have to explain the Death Pool to is yourself you bong smoking cocksucker. Everyone else gets it, but no doubt you had to spend an entire night trying to figure that one out and then when you finally had a glimmer of intelligence, you had to jerk off to celebrate your own personal moral victory over your own stupidity, and had to start all over again.

Nah, the mafia isn't nearly as vengeful as the New York State GOP. And they aren't half as efficient when it comes to taking someone out. Besides, most of the guys Rudy sent up the river are dead. Even the guys who took over for the guys Rudy sent up the river are dead or locked down.

If Rudy should ever begin to look like the presumptive nominee, look for some shit about Giuliani Partners and Giuliani-Kerik LLC to hit the fan. No way that business was 100% above board.
