Ed Carpenter, who trails Patrick by four slots in the IRL IndyCar Series' points race, made the comment when asked how Patrick might handle NASCAR racing during a radio appearance to promote Saturday night's Firestone Indy 200.

"I think Danica's pretty aggressive in our cars," Carpenter said Wednesday on WGFX-FM in Nashville.

"I mean, you know especially if you catch her at the right time of the month, she might be trading plenty of paint out there," he said.

If any of those racers in the open wheel form of not trading paint can explain why they have issues with her other than her 100 lb payload of a frame, let me hear it Bran.

That rook that fucked up during a practice a few months ago and got himself killed had a shorter career.

I am looking forward to Montoya coming over to NASCAR and hope he does well. Open wheel racing is all technology and they don't have personalities, nor do they have an "attitude." They are like the cyclists, soccer players, Super Bikers, etc. They are boring little international 3rd worlders and do not excite anybody outside of the most dominant and powerful country in the world. I love it!

Good points Bran and Mike. I like Danika because she is feisty. I love girls that have an attitude and don't want the "white picket fence" type of shit. They haven't won anything, but Anna is a manipulator and not a fighter. Danika has an edge that is attractive.

Remember, for one thing she's woman in a male dominated sport and she's in her early 20s. In her defense, she's at least being competitive but much like Michelle Wie, too many people think she's a failure because she's not beating the best in the world. Every sports prodigy always gets major heat if they don't come right into their sport and dominate like LeBron or Tiger. Athletes that dominate their sports from an early are a once in a generation occurence. These young women in sports today are getting way too much pressure placed on them when people forget they're still kids/young adults. Let them grow up a little before putting adult expectations on them.
