Agreed. It's going to take a bit more work to dislodge Hezbollah. Shit - Lebanon was in ruins until very recently, and the attacks continued unabated. Only a move against Iran or Syria will ever deal Hezbollah a death blow.

They're isolating Lebanon, is the point. Between the naval blockade and the airport bombings and the blowing up of all the bridges leading into and out of Beirut towards Syria Lebanon is now cut off from the rest of the world.

Then they started dropping bombs on the house of the Hezbollah leader, in a civilian area.

Theatrical, yes, but with some teeth too. More than anything what Israel wants from this is to further isolate Hezbollah from the Lebanese government, most of which already loathes Hezbollah anyway...
