TO waffles

Does anyone find it hard to believe that he referred to himself as heroic? I sure as hell don't..

My favorite:
"I'll read anything," said Hicks, holding a copy of T.O., "that has to do with football leadership."
Yeah- b/c TO is the shining example of a leader. What a dumbfuck..

Isn't that about what the Eagles were paying him?
I think he got more guaranteed $$ from the Cowboys.

So what Philly fan has as ammo so far is whether or not dude reffered to himself as heroic or whether his agents little brother the ghostwritter did it.

Quite the smoking gun, I must say.

I know you dudes are bitter. I know TO is a shitbag, but get a some real beef with his current actions. A quote, whether he said it or not, and him wearing a Heat hat to a Mavericks game is the best you've come up with so far.

Give it some time... I'm sure TO will give you much better ammo than this. At this point your sour grapes are showing.

Not really- dude is one hell of a player on the field- I never said anything different.

I just think he is a shitbag of a human being.

I don't think you'll find any rational 'boy fans disagreeing with that.

Hh is just saying that you might want to let him really make an ass of himself before you jizz yourself.

Unfortunately, so are many, many, many professional athletes. The ones who are not shitbags tend to be the exception, not the rule. T.O. just happens to be a very vocal shitbag.

And when you compare his actions, he's a lot cleaner than most shitbags. Again, just very vocal. His greatest trangression seems to be being a very vocal jackass which translated into being a locker room cancer. Note quite as big a shitbag as say Ray Caruth.

I'm with you on him being a shitbag. I just think you'll need to wait about a year and a half before he reverts to truly vocal shitbag status.

I think the time frame will will depend on your O line. If your O line does not give Bledsoe time to throw- TO may melt early. If they hold up- you're good for one year...

On another note- what's the word on Davis? Is he going to be ready for start os the season?

I think the plan has always been for Marcus Coleman to be ready to take the job away from Keith Davis in training camp, and Davis to move back into a special teams/dime package role. Coleman is a better cover man, where Davis is too much like Roy Williams. Great tackler/hard hitter. Shitty coverage guy.

As for TO. Dude will keep his mouth closed this year no matter what. If not, what team would have him? I think he knows he has to repair his image or he is done.

I think you are going too see Pat Watkins starting by the middle of the season.

Rack TO in advance for an entire season of Philly Fan fun.

Owens said he doesn't think reporters are necessarily conspiring against him as much as using him "to gain viewers' attention.

You disagree with that, BB?

They sure have you by the short and curlys with a non-story just by adding his name to the tag line.

I'd say the reporters know how to work an audience, TO see's what they are doing, and you are bitting hook, line, and sinker into all of it.

Not a bad call at all. If Coleman doesn't get the job done, I'd expect Watkins to get some playing time.
