The CFB boys don't know the shitstorm they have unwittingly started:

No, not a deathmatch. It was brought to my attention by someone in the CFB forum that the CFB Forum has overtaken the NFL forum in total threads and total posts. I know it is no "contest" but this is the message I received:

The CFB Forum is pretty healthy, IMO.

Could be that it is more healthy than this forum.

I am not that much of a college fan, so I don't post there often at all, but I do read there on occassion.

I think our forum here has taken a gradual dive over a period of time ...... and dating back to before we migrated to this board.

Summary is that the CFB could be 'better' than this one.......maybe.

I frankly think we need to step it up in here.

Start some more topics, talk some shit, slap some face.

All of that said, the NFL is BIGGER than College Ball so the NFL Forum belongs at the top of the list.

That's what seperates CFB forum from NFL, representation. There was a thread a while back citing what schools have posters repping. It was more than the 6 or 8 teams that guys honk in here.

Read the second sentence of my post. I know that others need to step up if they want different threads. No shit Holmes! When there's something I want to bring up, I do. I'm just not a year round NFL kind of guy. When camps heat up here in a couple weeks the forum will get rolling as well.

I don't remember D-town Mike very well, but come gametime I'll be all Honalulu Blue and Silver. My point was that I don't scour the pre-draft analysis to see who may go where and such. I don't care about free agency as the Lions are never really players in the market (s'up Scott Mitchell) unless you include guys lured away to sign with other teams. For me the season begins with training camp. I'll read the blogs and such, my Direct TV started billing me for my NFL Ticket renewel this month.

I didn't really start posting in the CFB forum until '03 (mostly hung out in the main forum before then), and I've never really felt any problems feeling at home there. And I'm not a Big 12 guy.

Of course, TRIXIE will probably say that I get a free pass because one of the mods roots for the same team I do (and until recently, we were the only fans of that team in the CFB forum). But I'd like to think that knowing what you're talking about before hitting submit, at least on occasion, plays a small part in it as well.

I know one thing, there is no way the CFB is going to die, it is somewhat like a brotherhood, I lost track when the Rome board went down and thank God I found those guys again.

I have gotten some of the best advice in my life from people that I consider freinds in the CFB forum and other forums too and I know if I ever have a problem that I can't speak about to anyone in person with, that they will try and help if I ask.

I am a 49er fan (yeah they suck now) and secondarily a Bears fan espcially now that they have three Oklahoma Sooners on their roster, of course if they all make the team.

I don't know what your deal is War Wagon, whatever.

I am just going to RACK the CFB forum as well as the NFL forum, it is fun butting heads.
