That would be LSU's career record against Auburn and Alabama. LSU holds a 3 game edge over Auburn. For every win against Alabama, they have more than 2 losses. LSU is Alabama's bitch while the relative equal to Auburn.

All time is the only :bode: there is.

Those who only look in the short term do it for a reason.

I thought this thread was going to be about backdating stock options.

Isn't there a CFB forum somewhere?

is that true? that's serious ownership on the road. K-State hoops without a home W against KU in the history of Bramlage Arena in Manhattan is the only thing that comes to mind as a more serious ho in your own hizzouse.

Along those lines, what I'm most proud of ND, at least on the field, is that of the 24 teams who have played us a minimum of ten times all-time, only two (Michigan and Nebraska) have winning records vs. ND. http://www.cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/di ... onents.php

Unfortunately, that team is Texas. :(

Notre Dame will have this distinction the next time we play. I don't think OU is going to make up that 8 game deficit anytime soon.
You are correct, except that it's a 7-game deficit. In any event, you certainly can't make it up with a single game.

Not real easy to have an eight-game deficit having only played nine games.
It's possible. The series could have been 8-0-1. We've only played you once since the overtime rule was implemented.

And btw, I like your reasoning on the Texas series, and I think I'll adopt it for Michigan. We were 2-9 vs. Michigan prior to WWII. Since 1978, when the series resumed in earnest, we're 12-9-1.

that's completely incorrect. which part of the 1956 Sooners putting in on ND 40-0 in South Bend are you observing as a tie?

I'm not saying that's what it was. I was just saying that in a series that had met nine times, one team could have an eight-game lead if the all-time series was 8-0-1.

It is, actually, although i think LSU did manage a tie one of those years.

In fairness to the Tigers, they had a fair number of wins beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa/Birmingham during that stretch.

And i fear Huggs' Thuggs may finally break that Bramlage goose egg within a couple of years.
