I don't detest him, but I do get sick of his minor nuances on the course that tick me off. For example, when he misses a putt, more oft than not he sits there exasperated that he DID miss it. It was somehow the GREEN'S fault that his ball trickled just right of the hole.

But, I must admit, it was nice to see him drain that 210 yard 4-iron yesterday. It wasn't so much the fact that he made it that I liked, but his reaction afterwards. You couldn't help but smile to see it.

To me, it was a different side of him... one that I can relate to. You know, for when I drop that 15 yd pitch and run once/year.

he doesn't hope he makes it, he EXPECTS to make it......

Crap...I need to rethink a couple of things...

tiger was a balky putter away from a really great round today....

the majority of approach shots he hit were dead at the flag...had his distance control been a little better he might have buried the field-in spite of a less than stellar putting performance......

sets up a very interesting Sunday......

I'm leaning toward the Big E right now...not a good ball striking day but sits in the same postion he started the day at....
