You know...for the bad rap we have...we still can't hold a candle to the true Thug U, who recently had a player shot in the ass while another immediately return fire with a semi-auto hand gun. That is some serious shit right there....

The tougher games this year seem to be at home where Carroll has had the team playing lights out since right after his arrival. I just wish USC would be more like an SEC team and schedule all the OOC games at home. Team lost a bunch of starters but most everyone stepping in has had some pt due to all the blowouts the last couple years. CW is either going to be a huge success or pretty big dissapointment, the kids may get in there early in the season.
Arkansas and Nebraska to open the season may be a bit much to ask of the kids but Nebraska is a home game so that will help.
None of the games look like certain losses but with the youth and lack of experiance coupled with everyone else seeking revenge for the last few years, Im sure a couple loom on the horizon.
Lets just look at the next weeks game and help and support these kids as they Fight On for Troy

Oh yeah, Arkansas is going to be a tough game. Maybe SC will only score 60 on them this time. The condoms will exert more energy picking up their luggage from the baggage carousel then they will rolling the hogs in this one.Arkansas and Nebraska to open the season may be a bit much to ask of the kids but Nebraska is a home game so that will help.
Nebraska...this one's over by halftime. $C 45-NU 14
No tough games there and quit trying to convince yourself that they are tough games.
7-5 shitty non conference+ gary stinkel coaching adds up to another indy bowl bid and cheers from the idiots who dont want to build a program, just keep with mediocrity to shitty years
suprised many texas peeps(state of texas) won't be interested in chase daniels and how he does. he was all everything at s outh lake carrol, and it's his team this year, no smith anymore.

I'm still of the opinion that tOSU & Notre Dame should start the season ranked below USC & Texas, despite what positions (namely QB) all four have to/don't have to replace.
ND's defense still has to improve A LOT from last year, before they can convince me that they're a top three team.
Both Texas & USC's quarterback situation completely overshadows how much talent each team has at other positions.
Everyone keeps talking about how stellar tOSU's offense is going to be, and how the defense will have to gradually keep up. I'm going out on a limb here, but I still believe the Buckeyes will continue to rely on their D to win games, while the offense will take until mid-October to fully click.

Exactly the mentallity I'm hoping for from everyone in So. Cal.Laxplayer wrote:Nebraska...this one's over by halftime. $C 45-NU 14
This game will be largely in doubt at halftime. A new SC QB, yeah he'll be at home, playing against the best front 7 he'll see all season.
With SC it will be interesting this season to see how the Norm Chow departure will affect the offense. Leinart had plenty to fall back on last year.
