26 is impressive...but if you're going to do it...do it where there's a buncha par 3's, I guess.

you consider 3 to be a "bunch".....
the guy was 8 under on the front side......
that'd even be impressive on an "executive" course......

I consider any number greater than 2 "a bunch."
But if you add in an extra 3, while omitting a 5, you've definitely put things into Pavin's wheelhouse. Almost every other player drools at the thought of making hey on the 5's, while Pavin fears them.
Hell,
I get pissed when they short a course/side of par 5's....assuming they don't get all silly and make me hammer 3 long ones to get there. Heck, if I get on or near the green in 2, I can usually salvage a 7 out of the deal.

you know I respect you Dins, but this is an inane statement......
464 yard par fours don't exactly fit what I call the "wheelhouse" for a guy that averages 265 yards off the tee.....while the longer hitters could be hitting anywhere from an 9 to a sand wedge, he's hitting 4 or 5 irons......
there is no reason for him to fear par 5's...he just accepts the fact he's not getting home in two and plays accordingly....barring disasterous shots, he'd be putting for birdies on the par 5s....
generally speaking he'll be hitting 2 or 3 clubs shorter than the majority of those guys.....
call it what you want, but it's pretty impressive to me.......

INCREDIBLE!

that's just wrong......

Ben Crane..........

Nah. Heck, I'll even
root for the fools, since they have Kevin Love playing hoops now(way to go, Ernie Kent).
Nah, I've just always thought Pavin was a mouthy, arrogant prick.
And for God's sake, swing the fucking club like a heterosexual for a change, Cory.

Dude has to spend 6 minutes double and triple checking his shot, but he couldn't spend the extra 30 seconds to correctly fill out his card?
Nice work, Ben.
I'll tell ya' -- if that guy wasn't my ultra-homey, I would freaking hate the guy...just like every player on the tour does. If I showed up at the local muni, and I had the chance to group up with Ben....I might actually politely decline, and ask if I can just play through.
Fuck, I can only imagine what he's like when he gets a couple of beers and bowls down him (he's from Beaverton, I assume he burns).

15 wins on the tour, a major, and sterling Ryder Cup record; probably didn't need to change a whole lot.....

I found it, it fit, and it looks like somewhere I want to be instead of typing on my keyboard....
