Dins, a request, if you'd be so kind...

While we're talking travel logs and all the thought hit me that I'd like to see you do your Dinsian worst to describe the single best and worst travel excursions you've ever experienced.
Vacation spots...or just towns you know...
Doesn't matter. Best, and worst, anywhere in the world, in typical Dins detail. Just tear it up.

Eventually, maybe.
Don't know if you've noticed -- while my posts tend to be War&Peace-ish, they never stay on a single subject. This is probably due to a wicked case of ADD.
Although I could probably launch into a derogotory diatribe about the evils of Aberdeen WA or Madras OR. And Albany. And Reno.
Someday...

Reno was at one time a great place to bag mediocre looking drunk tourist chicks.
It may still be, but I haven't been there in many years.

Try and not get your ass impaled by a picket while straddling that fence m'kay?

Still is, I suppose.
But dude...look who you're talking to...
I bag those everywhere I go.

Dins, just free associate and knock something out. Whatever it is, it is.
That's usually your best shit, when you just wing it.

He's covered this elsewhere. I think he said California, Nevada and Canada top his list as favorites.

Six hours up the freeway, yet I still haven't been to that third-world shithole in a loooong time.
Did I mention the first time I got really drunk and high and had intimate contact with a female in an elevator was while I was in canada?
I was 15 at the time.
Good times.

Dude, you live in Eastern WA
by choice.
What can I possibly do or say to
make your situation worse?
Life has beaten you down so thoroughly, I can't pile-on in good conscience.

I grew up in eastern/central Wa. Yakima, to be exact. When the day a mountain dumps 2 inches of volcanic dirt on your ass is the high point of your childhood, you know you live in a dull place.

Yeah, but all the beautiful flora...oh, wait...if it ain't irrigated, and it ain't sagebrush, it don't grow there.
Although, Yakima has much nicer views than most of Shithole ERRRRRR Eastern WA.

Yeah, I give it a hard time, but it's not terrible, I suppose. I had a view of Ranier from my back yard.
I live in Albuquerque now, so it's not like I've traded too far up the ladder.

Van,
Travelogue? You know here in the U & L we have these things called mountains, beaches, golf courses, methadone clinics, and bar skanks. Why would I ever leave?
Sincerely,
Dins
