This is what is wrong with politics
Being involved in politics makes you say stupid shit that doesn't make any sense. Take Norm Coleman Jr. for example. The Senator from Minnesota was told that his 81 year old father had been caught having sex outside a pizzeria with a 38-year old woman.
Now what would you guys think if your old man, or say your grandfather was busted for scoring some tail at the ripe old age of 81? I for one would be happy for the old dude. I might recommend that he try to invest in a hotel room. But my basic attitude would be "thank God he's still able to enjoy life".
But no, not Norm Coleman. He says “I love my father dearly. I do not condone his actions or behavior, and I am deeply disturbed by what I have learned. He clearly has some issues that need to be dealt with, and I will encourage him to seek the necessary help.”
The "necessary help"? What's that? A fucking concierge service? Damn, if you can't even be happy for your 81 year old pops for still being able to get in on, then you need to find some "necessary help" of your own.

What he needs is a Marriott Rewards card and a pat on the back. It's not like he was on a freakin sidewalk, he was in a car. You know, like thousands of people have done since Henry Ford gave us the fucking rumble seat.poptart wrote:Having sex IN PUBLIC is an issue that needs to be dealt with, Bri. So a Republican Senator's dad should be out nailing poon, and you think this will play well with the double-wide, snake-handling, "Arby's is good eatin'", Red Staters...
Good luck, hypocrites.
Good luck, hypocrites.

The problem is that somebody DOES care how it plays with the Red Staters. That's why Coleman facepalmed his own father for everybody to see. And to me, that's a fucking problem.Martyred wrote:So a Republican Senator's dad should be out nailing poon, and you think this will play well with the double-wide, snake-handling, "Arby's is good eatin'", Red Staters...

I know, for you anything that serves to further disconnect American politics from reality is a good thing.Martyred wrote:Why the problem? I'm not following you.BSmack wrote:

If a woman is willing to fuck a man that much older than her, in all likelihood at least one of the following is going on:
- She's a golddigger.
- She's extremely repulsive physically.
- She has major self-esteem issues.
- She has unresolved "daddy" issues.

2. That he claimed his father "has issues" because of this incident.

Don't want to speak for Bri, but I'm pretty sure he already does that. Of course, you would belittle his votes because they wouldn't be the same as yours.Martyred wrote:Vote.BSmack wrote:Which is exactly why I have a problem with it.Martyred wrote: It was public because a phony "War On Terror" Republican would rather throw

What? The words, "no comment" are not in Coleman's vocabulary?mvscal wrote:It was public because Coleman is a public official, you stupid, braindead fuck.
Yea, like you've never done anything like that ever. And his father does have a problem if he's getting blown on the side of the road. That is totally inappropriate behavior and I do believe he is old enough to know better.
