The sun kills 60,000 a year

This article sucks but the last three comments are priceless.
“Between 41,000 and 71,000 deaths, with a best estimate of around 60,000 were attributed to excessive ultraviolet rays exposure (in 2000),” the WHO said in a statement. Besides causing sunburn, cataract and other skin disorders, these rays contribute as much as 90 per cent to the development of melanoma.

I think we should NUKE the sun and take it out. That would save 60,000 lives a year.
