as per Howard stern show:
Chuck Zito is going to fight against a ufc fighter, or the other org. supposedly against one of the top fighters in the association that shows him the money. He said he has to shed about 10 pounds to get down to 200lbs.
shame he's making the leap at age 53?
his flaw, besides his age, is he is a fist fighter, one of the baddest of them all, but this isn't bopxing, and he could be in big trouble with a grappler/fighter.
UFC?

Another Royce Gracie/Matt Hughes yawner coming right up......
If Chuck Zito fought in the UFC, he would be the worst fighter in the UFC... by far.
For someone who has been to numerous UFC events like Zito, he should know better than to think that he could last more than a minute in a cage without getting wasted.
I heard the interview and I felt that he was acting like his usual tough guy self. He'll talk a big game to Stern and his minions but Zito knows that he would get vaporized in the UFC.
Not in a million years do I believe that Dana White and the UFC would allow Zito to ever fight in the octagon. It would be embarrassing. He would get humiliated for a number of reasons beyond his age and lack of training and conditioning. His comment that he would just bob & weave and hit someone with a one punch knockout either proves that he's an idiot of epic proportions or monumentally clueless.
I train MMA and not for a second do I believe that I could ever get into it with a professional fighter let alone the UFC's elite. Zito is a real tough guy by everyman standards. The difference between... let's say... Chuck Liddell and Chuck Zito is probably equivalent to the difference between Chuck Zito and OmegaVerb.
Frankly, I'd love to see Zito get in there and get fucking massacred. Realistically, freak show matches like this are a thing of the past and an embarrassment to the sport.
