Holy shit. Just got the OK from the wife (you'll understand soon, Chief) to fly down to Dallas to visit my best friend in November. The weekend of A&M/NU. Looks like we'll be camping/fishing down in Somerville and getting dukcing frunk all weekend and attending the game. Airfare only $122 outa the 314. Damn I hope this works out.

Wanted the week before for the OU game but I gotta damn wedding to go to. I'm gonna shit in a box and give it to them as their present for planning their wedding on A&M/OU day.

Actually, they're saving you a LOT of heartbreak, so you should thank them...

Man how many times am I going to have to say this: friends who hold weddings on Sat. during football season are not really friends. Sure they may say they are your friends but they are just trying to bag an easy wedding gift.

Amen. I had to go to a wedding in 1998 on the weekend that Notre Dame was playing us at home. The bride and groom both went to USC.

Inexcusable.

I think I was in that wedding... Luckily it rained the whole time so the reception was indoors where we could watch the game (since it was a night game that year)

If you really want to get them you take that pasty black, Jim Beam shit in the reservoir canister on the back of the toilet and then put a roll or two of paper in the toilet and leave without flushing.

I hope you ditched them on the gift. Made a complete drunken fool of yourself at the reception by hitting on the brides mom, pissing in the punch bowl, and finally passing out face first into the 3 tier wedding cake. Thats a sure fire way of avoiding having to attend any more weddings no matter if its football season or not.

I think I did all that minus stiffing them on the gift a couple weeks ago at the wedding I went to in columbus.

The Mrs. wasn't too happy. I believe someone called me "sloppier than a soup sandwich" which I told him was a new phrase to me and couldn't wait to use it on someone else.

I don't get the DFOB until I really start making plans to go to the games. Only thing that will suck this time is my bud doesn't hqave jack shit for camping gear and since I'll be flying down, I won't have much either.

Question for USC guys...

Why is your former quarterback being such a self-important douchebag of a pussy? All I heard from this guy before the draft was, "I'm not a Hollywood guy", "I just want to get in there and start learning the system. I just want to play football". Uh huh. Sounds like it.

I've been playing NCAA 2k7 and it has been giving me major wood over the last few days.

BTW Jordan Shipley has been kicking major ass.

Mgo,

I agree. Not only Leinart but Bush too. Both want to be paid 1st pick money. Matty...you weren't even the 1st QB taken. Sign your fucking 9 mil contract and get to work, cock.

Rack that Mgo and Indy. I am sick of hearing these guys complain about whether they get paid 9, 12 or 16 million. Quit hindering your progress and sign the deal (I am sure the agents play a hearty role in this process).

Not to mention the numerous endorsment deals these guys sign. It is just the rich being greedy to play a kids game.

On the wedding/football issue, unfortunately I was one of those guys. I got married when OSU played UCLA. However, looking back, we didn't miss much.

Sadly, this is true. Agents used to work for the players. Now, it seems the players work for the agents.
