Two of my rules growing up:

* Never fight a farm kid
* Never fight a wrestler

A third would be:

* Never fight a gigantic farm kid wrestler who was a former NCAA champ.

(Although I'm sure Dinsdale could take him.)

Great wrestlers obviously have a tremendous base to work from in MMA. Hughes, Henderson, Couture, Lindland, etc.

The issue with Lesnar is ego. If he thinks that he can just go out and wrestle and beat top flight competition in MMA, he'll be in for a very rude awakening. Hopefully he takes it really seriously and learns some BJJ and striking.

I saw Lesnar take some snaps in a Viking game. For a guy who walked off the street, he looked pretty damn good. The coaches said he worked hard in practice, kept his mouth shut, and was very coachable so I don't think ego will be a problem.

I hear that Lesnar is working with MFS in Iowa, which is a scary prospect.

Even with only his wrestling, Lesnar could probably beat two-thirds of the heavyweights right now.

.

The other linemen weren't trying to dislocate his shoulder or drop a triangle on him.....

Dude is a class A STUD though.....I'll give him that much.

Working with the Miletich boys certainly lends a alot of credibility to his cause.
