Another of the Dungver's Donkeys stellar draft choices.
With such compelling posts as yours, you add to that blowing horses so well.poptart wrote:This board sucks horse cocks.
It seems to me that each of the three people who started those threads did so in the forums where they post most often. Why are you so amazed?Terry in Crapchester wrote:I gotta admit, it's nothing short of amazing that we have three different threads in three different forums devoted to pretty much the same topic.

True, although Clarett's connection to the NFL is tenuous, at best.Goober McTuber wrote:It seems to me that each of the three people who started those threads did so in the forums where they post most often.Terry in Crapchester wrote:I gotta admit, it's nothing short of amazing that we have three different threads in three different forums devoted to pretty much the same topic.

I just didn't think this was a big enough news item to generate multiple glass dicks. Why are you so amazed?
"Star" and "street criminal" are not necessarily mutually exclusive.Jsc810 wrote:How does that happen? OK, so the NFL has enough running backs, no big loss there. But to go from star to street criminal in a few short years, well, it is sad.http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/08/09/claret ... index.html
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Maurice Clarett was arrested early Wednesday after a highway chase that ended with police using Mace on the former Ohio State running back and finding four loaded guns in his truck, a police spokesman said.
Could have been worse though. Props to the cops for getting him off the streets before he killed someone. Enjoy playing ball in the prison yard, Maurice. :x

If he was good enough to play in the CFL, he would already be there. In case you missed it, the CFL season started a month ago.jtr wrote:Warren Moon and the CFL should be bailing him out anytime soon.
Not enough to know who's winning and losing up there. But enough to know that they've already started playing. Seen any news stories on Ricky Williams in say the last 3 months?jtr wrote:You follow the CFL?
Actually yes that's what I was going for with CFL bailing this dude out now that Ricky is hurt.BSmack wrote:Not enough to know who's winning and losing up there. That was not even a remote possibility even before Clarett got busted again. For starters, Clarett was already facing criminal counts that would have made his getting a work visa in Canada an impossibility. And even had the Canadian govenment decided to allow Clarett to work in Canada, there's the small problem of him not being a very good running back anymore.jtr wrote:Actually yes that's what I was going for with CFL bailing this dude out now that Ricky is hurt.BSmack wrote:Not enough to know who's winning and losing up there. Clarett wasn't even that good anymore. We're talking about a guy who didn't even make it to final cutdowns with the Broncos after being drafted in the 3rd round. A guy whose combine workouts were a running joke around the NFL all last summer. In short, he's let himself go and he's racked up a shitload of baggage in the form of warrants. Were there ANY interest from the CFL in Clarett, it would have happened before the season started, not now.jtr wrote:Not very good running backs are common among CFL teams anyway if they aren't on NFL squads anyway right? Half of the CFL team rosters consist of Div i-aa players or other american college players that were never given a chance in the NFL. Eric Crouch is a QB up there while in the NFL he was only allowed to be a WR cause of his size. Joe Smith is a running back up there he was tremendously talented coming out of Georgia Tech as far as I remember, I don't know what happened to his NFL chance.
I initially thought that jess was actually being witty and making a play on words.jtr wrote:I agree he is destined for the penile code football team. Should be good matchup with some of the bengals and lawrence phillips on the opposing squad.

So it all makes sense, all the contriteness, all the thank-yous, all the quasi-goodbyes. If someone was coming after Maurice Clarett, that meant someone was coming after his baby girl. And if someone was coming after his baby girl, he was going to do anything he could to stop it. If that meant carrying four guns and wearing a bulletproof vest, so be it. Maybe, Tuesday night, he knew it was over. Maybe that's why he told me, "I'm a young man going through stress. I'm a person who was scheduled to make millions and didn't make 'em."
The more I think about it, maybe he'd decided Tuesday night was the night to tell everyone how he felt, his last chance for a confessional.
And now he's in maybe the safest, best place for him.
The slammer.
That goes a long way toward explaining why Jess is still awaiting his first speaking line. Remember, they never let Pamela Anderson have a whole lot of lines in Baywatch, either.Invictus wrote:I saw that thread.
